Wisconsin Uniform Reveal: 'Grateful Ducks!'
The first thing I thought of was Bill Walton. He would have loved it. Of course, he would have loved it more if the whole jersey was tie-died. It would have turned Bill into a Ducks fan.

New Poll Out & Billy Napier is Fired
I’m personally a fan of chaos for UW. I’m also not convinced there is any guarantee Stein will be a good HC, it’d be a calculated risk imo. That being said, my guess is UF takes a run at Kiff and DL, but ends up with Drinkwitz.

The Quarterback Conspiracy Theory or I am So Confused.
Novosad has been listed as "questionable" on the pre-game injury reports for several weeks. Some type of muscular issue in his back. Moga, I have no clue. As I suggested yesterday, there may be some type of "agreement" with the coaching staff to preserve as much of their eligibility as possible in the event they want to portal. While they agree to stay on the roster in the event of an emergency. On the other hand, some game film would help their chances to be picked from the portal? While they aren't playing future opponents don't have much film to scout. If Moore returns the absence of in-game experience for the two is less of an issue. But, if he doesn't return, you would think Stein would want to see them under-fire before 2026?

SD has been toxic for years, but not quite the cesspool that OregonLive used to be.

New Poll Out & Billy Napier is Fired
Do we want that? At first I did, but then we might lose Stein to Seattle, and that thought revolts me, but it is a great job. They used to think highly of Jonathan Smith at Washington when he was their OC years back...

GAT! Don't Wipe That Smile Off Your Face 😁😎😍 Billy's Gone
Steve Spurrier said there were three steps that any Gator coach had to complete to be a success. 1.) Win the state- That means recruiting and beating FSU and Miami. 2.) Win the SEC- Obviously that means beating Georgia, Tennessee, and LSU. The traditional big three rivalries which will now change as the Florida vs LSU rivalry will not be protected. 3.) Compete for National Titles- You gotta do the first two before you can even contemplate the third. Well maybe not anymore, the playoff opens up the chance for programs like Alabama and Ohio State to win the title without winning their league. I still think all three would be the goal every year. Florida hasn't won anything since 2008, so there's going to be a process. I think the program is going to go after a proven P4 head coach this time. I think Jon Gruden would be an interesting choice to go along with Kiffin, Fisch, and Franklin. Will Wisconsin, South Carolina, North Carolina, and FSU soon follow suit? Probably not a great time for Arkansas, UCLA, Virginia Tech, and Oklahoma State to be looking for a proven P4 coach imo. Arkansas and UCLA might just stick with Petrino and Skipper.

James Franklin on deck? He DID promise his next team was gonna win CHAMPIONSHIPS! On a serious note, GAT, good luck findinga good coach. It's been weird not having Florida keep Mari 00 in line.

Fickell soon to join the Gundy, Bray, Franklin "sidelined' team? Luke Fickell, Wisconsin should just forfeit instead of starting Hunter Simmons again He should at least make it to and through our game. I can't imagine making an interim coach have his first start against Oregon.

GAT! Don't Wipe That Smile Off Your Face 😁😎😍 Billy's Gone
I just saw that Jon. I heard there was a meeting scheduled for today so it was probably decided this past Monday. I'm glad Billy went out with a win, but the air feels a little fresher. That sounds terrible, but the man was just in over his head. He'll get ten million dollars to soothe the pain. He'll get an additional 13 million spread out over the next four years if he isn't hired by anybody else. Time to move on. Who's next?

The Quarterback Conspiracy Theory or I am So Confused.
Not sure it’s a terrible thought at all. Could well be that Smith is next up, be it next year or the year after, and we go into the portal if needed. There’s no way to groom (and keep) 3 future QBs at once in the portal era.

New Poll Out & Billy Napier is Fired
The Gators are officially parting ways with Billy Napier. I just hope we don't see the team give up now. Spoiling the season for Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Georgia would be pretty sweet. It would also help Oregon get a higher seed. Getting into the top four ensures a bye. Being in the top 8 ensures a home playoff game. The B1G has the top two teams in the country again. Alabama is up to fourth, Texas A&M is third. Oregon, Georgia and Ole Miss are packed pretty tightly together. Notre Dame is up to twelve, so they are going to be playoff bound again. USC dropped out while Michigan re-entered. Illinois is 23.

The Quarterback Conspiracy Theory or I am So Confused.
This is what Novosad said back in June, 2025. Has he changed his trajectory about his future with the Ducks? Only time will tell if this stays true. Oregon QB Austin Novosad Ends Transfer Speculation With Clear Statement About His Future“I’m a competitor, I love the program, I did not want to leave,” Novosad said. “I think Coach Stein and Coach Lanning speak for themselves. Just the consistency I mentioned earlier, they show that every day.” Novosad continued, “I wanted to be at a program where I could showcase my ability and set myself up for the future.” ‘Set Myself Up for the Future’ — Oregon QB Austin Novosad Shuts Down Transfer Rumors With Bold Message

Wisconsin Game-Time Announced....
12:30 kickoffs are great. 4pm means that I drive 2.5 hours in the dark with impatient fans heading to Portland that may have been drinking a good part of the day. If it is raining just add another level of PITA to the drive.
