  1. Past hour
  2. Hill and Davidson need more reps. They were fantastic and easily the next two running backs tonight. Limar looks like a pretty decent to good blocker but his running is frankly meh. And Whittington is a threat to be a home run but if he doesn't hit a big play it's often not for many yards. Meanwhile... Hill just ripped off yards using his speed and vision. Davidson had some fantastic blocks and some power runs. Seriously ... Get those two the ball more. They are the future and the best two running backs on the roster right now.
  3. You KNOW what I mean. How many times have we all thought...."this IS the year!" And our hopes were dashed by injuries, referees, weird stuff, etc.? We protect our hearts as Duck fans, we only want to believe to a point. But you have to admit--this is a GOOD TEAM. Dante Moore is so much better than I EVER anticipated, and made clutch plays as if he was a senior. We had freshmen play as if they were seniors... And we had coaches who took another big step UP. We have as much a chance of winning a 'Natty as anyone. Are ready to pull off the shield from your Duck-Heart and truly BELIEVE this is the year?
  4. So much more to say, but I’ll leave it at this: I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Dierre Hill is HIM.
  5. I noticed Lanning talking to Tosh a lot during the game.
  6. Walk the Walk Oregon's brash win at Penn State shows Ducks have attitude to beat anyone - Yahoo Sports
  7. Im beginning to think Tosh may be turning into a serviceable DC...
  8. I mean, the proof is in the pudding! 😁🦆
  9. I looked it up. Tuioti is a returning starter. Jackson is not.
  10. We have: "Dyer was down" Penn St now has: "Whittington wasn't down"
  11. Today
  12. I guess I was primarily paying attention to the ends, backers and safeties.
  13. Franklin after the game Everything Penn State HC James Franklin said about falling to the Ducks
  14. I disagree: Breland played A LOT, and made some pressures at key moments...
  15. Didn't Tuioti start all 14 games last year?
  16. I agree. I think this was the best coached game Lanning and company have ever had.
  17. Oregon beat Penn State in Happy Valley with four returning starters from last year’s team (Laloulu, Jackson, Boettcher, and Uiagalelei). That’s pretty impressive.
  18. One of the best regular season wins in Oregon football history. That said, what was the deal with the targeting no call? If that wasn’t targeting, what is? I’m thankful no one got hurt.
  19. It's wonderful to see all those Penn State picks be wrong.
  20. I agree. It seemed like we didn't sub anyone the defense for nearly the entire game. They didn't need to pass the ball again after their last drive in regulation, but they did and it cost them.
  21. Gary continues to get very little recognition, yet he has a TD in every game thus far, and he turned into the go-to receiver during crunch time and caught everything thrown his way. Dude is legit. It's becoming apparent that the two frosh RBs have the faith of the coaches, and they continue to deliver. Defense mostly looked great tonight. Great win!
  22. They should have stuck with Corso he probably would have picked the duck
  23. Can't the home team choose to wear white if they want or is there some weird rule in college? Why don't they wear all whites I mean they already have the ugliest uniforms in sports
  24. With Indiana’s win over Iowa, we’re probably looking at another top 10 game in two weeks. College Game Day anyone?
  25. I think it was a mix of being tired and taking the foot off the gas just that little bit that made a difference. Overall Tupoi probably called his best game in his time at Oregon. The D won the game for Oregon along with the ground game. I'm not taking anything away from Moore, but our ability to have so many weapons to throw at Penn St. was the difference. Wide Receivers have a ton to be proud of in this game, they were the major question mark going into this season, and we're so much deeper than we were last year in this area of the game. This is such a huge win for the program. We have now won the trifecta of road wins in the conference. In our last 5 years we are 3-0 in road games at Michigan, Ohio St., and Penn St. That is a huge statement.
  26. Our receivers are the most sure-handed group ever. Nice to have Lowe back.
