  2. Two names I like are Jerry Neuheisel and Sean Brophy. You could make Brophy co-OC and get some of those ideas from North Texas and mix them into the offense.
  3. Sounds like Mehringer. If DL believes in him and the players buy in, as they appear to have done, then it's time to get on board. James Crepea is reporting Chris Hampton will be the new DC. Works for me as does finding an expanded role for Wadood with the DBacks.

  5. I don't see the risk. Coach Lanning knows Drew Mehringer really well. They've recruited together; sat in meetings together, CL has seen how DM understands the game, how he relates to player, how he schemes offenses, how breaks down and attacks defenses, how hard he works, how he reacts to stress, etc. If any thing this is hire that is anything but risky.
  6. And some people just don’t have “it” or are not good at certain things. Hope he does well, if the rumors are true, but this is a huge and unnecessary risk for the program, IMO. Oregon has a golden window to win the national championship in the next couple of years and we’ll need the best coaches possible to pair with the extremely talented players. Our young coaches have been out-coached in a couple of games (e.g., Ohio State in the playoffs, Indiana this year).
  7. We will need a quarterback coach then? Need to keep Daunte happy!
  8. Cheer on these guys! https://247sports.com/college/oregon/article/heres-who-oregon-fans-should-be-pulling-for-during-conference-championship-weekend-264961558/?source=column&lctg=26140&eid=c7d8647c6247db8d08c59fe44bc30380a147aa90b9e3309
  9. Georgia suing a transferred student/Athlete who received $30K for $390K. Georgia seeks $390K from DE Damon Wilson for transfer damages - ESPN This is not a good look for future recruits.
  10. Looks like Lanning is set to promote Drew Mehringer to OC. Will be good offensive scheme continuity. Mehringer has called plays before and has called games for us — one with a banged up Bo Nix.
  11. BYU, Duke, and Indy? Gutsy. Find a book that will take this parlay. 🤑
  12. Who?
  13. Especially when the team that lost does not have a clear resume advantage, which is the case with ND.
  14. They'd probably replace Bama with Texas. 😁
  15. Would love to see the ACC left out of the playoffs
  16. This maybe as entertaining as Dilly to ASU. Already grabbed a LSU/Kiffen recruit. A University of Kentucky Wildcats Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and more.
  17. Makes sense for Peyton. Oregon is closer to home, has a great T&F program, and now has family coming here. Great situation for him!
  18. Official press conference/announcement
  19. Jon, please don't bet the house, we have enough unhoused already.
  20. Agreed. Duke, BYU and Georgia. Let the talking heads lose their dinosaur brains with "who did you beat" vs "yeah but who did you lose to" I'm looking at you Miami, 'Bama, ND and Texas.
  21. My picks of the ones that may matter: JMU Bluefield St No Tex Tex Tech Dawgs Ole Virginny Bucknutt And here's to a Hurricane, Bama and Gold Dome free playoffs. I'd accept two out of three. A man can dream....
  22. Since it is Bama, I could see them jump to #4. It would not happen for any team not in the sec but it would not surprise me at all.
  23. Here are my predicted winners from the above games. Kennesaw St. JMU BSU N. Texas St. BYU W. Michigan Georgia Duke Indiana
  24. I agree head to head results should matter.
  25. I want to see as much chaos as possible. Go Blue Devils.
  26. Well, I would be thrilled to see a 3 loss Alabama being left out of the PO field. The fewer the sec teams the better.
