  2. I have to say I don't know. I am as mystified as you are but they always seem to have excellent receivers to take up any slack.
  3. Tosh Lupio: "It doesn't matter who's out there, one standard. Really disappointing finish. Difficult to enjoy and relish" the win."
  4. It’s hard to get a good read because the level of competition varies so wildly from week to week. Dante looks like the best pure passer in the game at times, but then makes some really bad decisions. Too many still.
  5. Shocked to see some reactions here. Time to BREATH. The score was 48-13. Everything went as expected with this being a tune up game. Onto the next one.
  6. Kind of surprised to not see more of Noah Whittington In the second half. Oregon seemed to be running the ball effectively. Why not run it with a big lead and shorten the game? Oh well, win and move on! Not feeling super confident about the Orange Bowl though. TT looks formidable.
  7. I think Moore has the highest ceiling, maybe of any QB in the Playoff. I love the fact that physically he can make any throw. He can already play at or near an elite level, but I think he has room for growth, and I think he will get even better. I hope he comes back for one more year at Oregon. Comparing him to the other first round QBs is tough. Simpson is very good, as is Chambliss. Dante certainly has more upside I believe. I’ll say this though, if I were picking one to stay for next season I would pick Moore.

  9. We played a TON of second and third teamers beginning in mid-second quarter. When we finally brought the starters back--they were cold, and not as effective as early in the game. For example the LB burned on the wheel route is a RS Freshman, the 3rd team LB. Lanning wanted these guys to get experience, and gambled that they would be better. He knew we had the game won and since style points don't matter--wanted the reserves to get playing time. I don't know about Offord....
  10. Just a pathetic second half performance!!

  12. Yes, he is a quality talent with a lot of upside. Throws a nice long ball. Glad we have him. I do not think he is ready for NFL. Let's see how we look against some of the good defenses in playoff. I sure hope we get more than one chance to see!
  13. Today
  14. I would have agreed with you up until that second interception.
  15. I am referring to our quarterback versus the other quarterbacks that we have watched play between today and yesterday. I cannot claim we have the best in ALL the Playoffs, because the Ohio State and Indiana quarterbacks are extremely extremely talented, but it sure seems like ours is on a different level compared to what I watched in the last two days. Agree?
  16. I wouldn't want to play UCLA next year.

  18. He may not be a bad option, now that the game is over, especially if he brings over some of JMU's offensive play calls 😄
  19. DL should shut down the duel responsibilities for the coordinators. They need to focus on their current jobs and not their new ones until the season is over. Full stop.
  20. Good year, got a playoff win…let’s see what Moore does.
  21. The goods are good...but it's JMU. Some of the "bads" are a concern though against TTU or anyone past them. I sure hope so. Second half overall has been very sloppy and that's not something that should happen against a team like this and we don't exactly have tons of backups in there's a lot of starters still
  22. The defense is simply not good enough, 400+ yards of offense, 26 points, getting confused all over the place, it's not acceptable and it doesn't give me confidence for the future. Looks like Lupoi is too focused on the new job. If I'm Lanning I'm furious at his players, himself, and most importantly the coaches, this is a C- performance at best for the D.
  23. Oregon WR Jeremiah McClellan makes highlight TD catch, returns from injury scare Oregon Ducks wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan made a highlight touchdown grab, but later left the game due to injury. The Ducks cruised to a 34-6 halftime lead over James Madison in the College Football Playoff.
