  2. Long season and some random teams usually take the place of those that fall. The SEC has a relative LOT of losses on the ledger for their contenders. The normal pattern for the SEC would be that “Texas only lost because now Florida is in the top 10, so let’s not penalize Texas too much.” Hard to do that when they lose to a Florida team with a losing record, but they‘ll try. SOS concepts being tossed around by the SEC mouthpieces are a bunch of smoke imo. Only way we don’t get in with 2 losses is if we have horrible timing. If we go 10-0, drop the last 2 in a row and don’t make the B1G championship game….thats the only 2 loss scenario that keeps us out IMO.
  3. Friday is the day to go to get a close-up look without the crowd. Not saying don't go on Saturday too, if you're so inclined, but Friday you can go in early afternoon, and the crew will be there on and off.
  4. Maybe Mario Cristobal has finally figured it out... But then again... The big games MC was usually prepared for, it was the games that were supposed to win that tripped him up.
  5. Nope! Just remember they’re actively trying to kill the MWC instead of joining forces, no empathy. I’d still put their ceiling at 4 wins with a floor of 1. The thing I don’t get is how obtuse the Oregonian was on picking them to win. The logic was “Boise just beat App, therefore even though it’s on the road, Beavis will win.” They somehow still think they’re on par with a team that made the CFP last year. Going to be a shame when they don’t crack the top-4 of the new PAC next year.
  6. Another factor for Penn State is that they have the bad juju from Sandusky and Joepo that they can't shake!
  7. This is now the ultimate nightmare scenario.. . 0-6 start Oof
  8. Let me pose this question to those thinking Oregon's win over Penn State is diminished. Do you think Penn State would have lost today if they won last week? I think they would in that scenario.
  9. It's the loooooong travel and they let Oregon beat them twice as they say. I don't think this PSU loss takes away from our win.
  10. Thanks for nothing, Penn State 😉.
  11. Today
  12. Damn this is brutal. Lost 27-23...so you are at the bottom of the Group-of-Six? At what point am I finally going to feel sorry for them?
  13. If UCLA goes on a tear, they could still end up making Oregon look good, as long as the Ducks crush their newfound spirit. Im not a weasel fan, but I can acknowledge the unbridled joy he exhibited for his son's success.
  14. Not an entirely new scheme as that would require more than a couple weeks to install. They were up against an entirely new offensive mentality for sure. UCLA was playing with free money because their HC was fired and the season was written off. Why not get aggressive with the play calling? That's what they did was play like there was no tomorrow and frankly for that staff and those players at UCLA there might not be a tomorrow. Jim Knowles is time and time again referred to as the best defensive coordinator in all of college football. His defense just got ripped to shreds by a first time offensive coordinator and a program everyone has written off as dead. Penn State prepared their heart out for Oregon and Oregon shattered their heart. They're culture was broken coming into the game today. Now Penn State is in a state of do or die crisis. And it wasn't just the defense that got beat... But that Penn State offense just couldn't move the ball.
  15. Hope he recovers well... that sounded, well... dirty, if true.
  16. Right now Miami is making FSU look inept.
  17. Scoo Ducks!!! This is awesome. Now everybody show up!! Woo hoo!!
  18. Jerry Neuheisel for the next UCLA coach? A somnubulant Bruins O woke up today. PSU lost twice. This is bad coaching squared. I'll wait on Charles, Mike West, or another more skilled Xs and Os guy, but running an RPO O with Allar at QB? The problem? Who can we hire who is better? Bama wins and shuts up Pavia. UGA owns Kentucky. Clemson brings more laughs to the Billy sans Tommy hire. Texas? Did no one notice the talent that left last season's Longhorns? Did no one notice the preseason AA players at Clemson lost 4 games last season? My LV boys and I win. We bet the preseason under for Texas and PSU. Indiana? Put out the Cig in Week 7, but are the Hoosiers still the underdogs at PSU? ND is fortunate Navy defeated AFA today, 34-31. ND is in the final 12, and something is wrong. PUT OUT THEM CIGS! https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/bowl-projections-sec-big-ten-own-college-football-playoff-field-with-alabama-oregon-ole-miss-among-risers/
  19. Kirk, compared to other scores today, UW rebounded from a loss to No.1, overcame the travel and being behind, and won the ball game. Locksley is now 0-10 coming off a bye.
  20. Oklahoma is getting a lot of mileage for their win over a mediocre Michigan team at home. They are no where near top 5 in the country.
  21. I just hope every Duck coach and player watched the UCLA/ Penn St game and realize that next week is a whole other game.
  22. Thanks to Florida again! We love you GatOrlando!
