  1. Past hour
  2. I really wish ASU had pulled off the upset against Texas. That would have been a big fat L on the SEC forehead.
  3. It might take a few law suites to finally establish some sorts of order to the free for all that is going on now.
  4. Today
  5. Beige....the color of milk toast and the Husky trousers.
  6. Hard to teach old dogs new tricks.
  7. Yesterday
  8. I guess that's different. I mean if Penn State did this the fan base would lose their freaking minds. But beige isn't a color that sparks any sort of inspiration.
  9. Never trusted Mario when he was at Oregon and I have no idea what his involvement may be here, but there is much to ponder.
  10. You can check the article and tweets right here, and I notice that the Bastard-Huskies have gone away from the metallic gold pants to a soothing-sweet beige this year! The biggest complaint from Washington fans is that the new look differs very little from the old look. (Nope...it's WORSE!) An Oregon fan noted that there are, "3 stripes on the pants to commemorate every yard Jonah Coleman rushed for against Oregon."
  11. WOOF! https://athlonsports.com/college/washington-huskies/washington-huskies-new-uniforms-reaction
  12. When the SouthEasternConference was created, I think there was a bylaw that requires scheduling one or two "directional" schools to fit the conference name.
  13. You mean I may have to review my "inactive" status from the State Bar?
  14. I can understand how a loss of $ 500 K+ might cause a sophomore in college to suffer an illness? If you want an objective POV, always ask an involved party's lawyer, right?
  15. This is a reminder to make sure you wink twice before tampering.
  16. Michigan and Illinois have similar schedules, Michigan hosts osu2, Illinois is at the 'shoe. Michigan is at USC, the Trojans go to Illinois, neither play OBD.
  17. The SEC wants to have their cupcakes and eat it too. The article suggests, 'fine, 8 conference games' but how about scheduling a team with some meat on the bone, maybe Illinois instead of Eastern Illinois, or at least Kansas? Kentucky is in the SEC, but according to PAWL, they aren't all that. "Very average," Finebaum said. "I'm not saying he can't have a winning season, but I'll just go through it in my head right now: one, two, three, four, five, I think right now 6-6 would be a pretty good season. It wouldn't be a pretty good season if you've had two bad seasons in a row, I'm just thinking I don't see a lot better than 6-6 or at the absolute best 7-5, which is pretty mediocre."
  18. While schools are prohibited from communicating with players who are not in the transfer portal, the NCAA told Yahoo Sports in January that current rules “do not prevent a student-athlete from unenrolling from an institution, enrolling at a new institution and competing immediately.” Lucas’ attorney, Darren Heitner, said in January that Wisconsin violated NCAA rules by not putting Lucas’ name into the transfer portal. Heitner said Lucas decided to enroll at Miami after learning that his father suffered a “serious, life-threatening illness.” The attorney has threatened to file an antitrust lawsuit against Wisconsin. This is crazier than the contact base stealing and obstruction rules in softball & baseball!
  19. USA Today calls out the SEC - Stop the Cupcake Scheduling If SEC wants more College Football Playoff respect, it's time to dump cupcake games WWW.USATODAY.COM The SEC keeps finding new reasons to not add a ninth conference game. OK, then how about adding another good non-conference game?
  20. I think Penn State will end up winning the conference title. IMO, people are sleeping on how much talent and experience they return. Illinois will finish in the Top 4 as well with Oregon and osu2 UW is still a year or two away.
  21. Four B1G Blue Chip Roster Teams are favored to win the B1G title. With the roster turnover at Ohio State and Oregon, perhaps put Illinois, and 1-5 in one-score losses in 2024, USC to the list, with UW a B1G underdog. WOOF! One of these four teams will win the Big Ten championship in 2025 WWW.YARDBARKER.COM Big Ten teams want to win the Big Ten, and one of these four teams will walk away with the trophy in 2025.
  22. This article from Yardbarker clarifies the NCAA's current 'a contract doesn't matter' POV. I don't think the NCAA or any other third party saw this lawsuit coming. Wisconsin football makes NCAA history with tampering lawsuit against Miami WWW.YARDBARKER.COM The NIL era has essentially turned college football into a professional sport, and we now have our first tampering lawsuit between major programs. Wisconsin and its NIL collective filed a...
  23. A Badger's POV. I haven't seen anything from Mario regarding this chi-Cane-ry Wisconsin issues eye-opening new allegations against Miami in Xavier Lucas case BADGEROFHONOR.COM Just when you thought that maybe all of the Xavier Lucas drama was done and over with, the Wisconsin football team has decided that it's not going to let Miami
