Lindsay looks the part for sure. A 6’6” wing that shoots 41% from three and over 50% from the floor. Also shoots 70%+ from the line. He looks like that slasher / playmaker we have been missing at the SF spot. Not sure about Kobzystyi. The two times he was on the court, he didn’t look ready yet. Hopefully that changes. Weird that we have had almost no portal action.

No Ducks drafted, Willie (run Herbert up the gut) Taggart, and getting destroyed by the Huskies. Not a banner year for Oregon football.

The House Settlement Hearings Begin On Monday, April 7, 2025
Jon Joseph replied to Jon Joseph's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
The Athletic's ($ Wall) Stewart Mandel attended yesterday's House Settlement hearing in Judge Wilkins courtroom. The Judge delayed approval of the Settlement for a brief time but Mandel believes the Judge will approve the Settlement. However, as Stewart notes, the Settlement does not resolve the issues troubling college athletics. NIL is not going away. "Boosters aren't going to stop buying recruits just because their favorite school now has $20.5 million on the ledger." Transfers - "... will not slow down unless, or until, the schools agree to enter into collective bargaining with their athletes. That seems not remotely imminent." "Congress is not going to sweep in with the magic antitrust exemption ..." The Settlement settles nothing. Along with little old Moi, the 'experts' outside of the NCAA can see this. What in particular is the Power 2 doing? The NCAA has outlived its usefulness, except for hosting post-season events. The NCAA will continue to be sued and OBD will continue to cough up its share of legal fees in what will likely be more courtroom defeats for the NCAA. No matter the cost, college lemmings are going to lemming. -

Again Florida did what Florida does: rallies like crazy to win games late. Rarely do they lose the close ones in the last two minutes of a game. The last time they did so: In the second to last week of the regular season against...the Georgia Bulldawgs! So at least we beat the national champs this year, only not when it really counted. It is hard for a Dawg fan to feel great about a Gator triumph, and I couldn't help rooting for Kelvin Sampson and the Cougars to kiss the trophy. But it is also hard to not admire the way this Florida team stood up, time and time again, to adversity this year and managed to prevail in the end. Congrats to a gutty bunch of kids. And Houston really is a beast on defense, aren't they?

I new I like this guy! Staying for his 3 year will be great for his development and after his 4th year he could be NBA ready. He has the size and quickness just needs to keep working on his Basketball IQ and polish up his skills and he could be dangerous. Reminds me of Wooten but with better advice.

Josh Pate Names the Teams that can Realistically Win It All in 2025

There has been some concern about DJ's shoulder, but I think he'll be fine. Billy needs to contend this year, it's going to be tough with the schedule though. The best beat whoever is there, that's what Oregon did outside of one game against the eventual champion. -
