Is it just me or does anybody else think that Gernorris Wilson is going to be a sure fire fan favorite in the coming years? There always seems to be one on the OL - JPJ, Sewell, Grasu, Forsyth. This guy is big, is getting trusted with stuff early in his career, and seems like a really great interview. My money is on him becoming a “face” of the program. We really don’t have a big man “face” right now. Maybe Ajani, maybe Burch, but we need a big ol’ turd like JPJ was. Me thinks Gernorris potentially is that guy.

The best game of the day was OAC playing BYE at home. A whole additional week for the feeble beavs to stew in their own juices after the epic beat down last week. Oh, and watch their master beat last year’s national champion on the road as the #1 team in the nation. Boo hoo

OL not filling me with confidence

A few years earlier than the pick there was a peculiar season where a lot of folks started to smell something. That year was 1987. It started off by beating Colorado on the road. Then a kinda close loss @ Ohio State Next week was a victory over San Diego State Then.......a triumph over Washington followed by a win over USC - both at Autzen. Of course things went off the rails a bit after that, but that was one hell of a start to a season and the first time I thought that maybe............

Thank you for posting the video. I am saddened that according to that film the Eisenhower will soon be taken out of service also. The Ike is the only actively commissioned AC I have ever been on (on a 3 hour walking tour with my then young sons). Those 3 hours made an impression. The size of that thing is breathtaking. It is hard to believe that mere humans can build something so large and so amazing.

I respectfully disagree. After retiring and retuning to Oregon in 1993 from suburban Virginia it took me 1 year to pack up and move out of Oregon for good. What that state did to my military pension was criminal. I have been in Las Vegas ever since and am proud to say that any tax I may pay here does not support OAC in any way. Oregonians need to wake up in more ways than one.
