Kickoff Time Announced Between No. 1 Oregon and Michigan
"As long as OBD is No. 1, I don't think they will schedule us on B1G network" In 2023, Michigan and Ohio State both had the "required" B1GN games - 1 non-conference, 1 conference. They can apparently get away with not playing Fridays, but the B1GN is another matter.

Hoosiers Shuck Nebraska but Their QB is Out Indefinitely
Unless it has been changed, or gets changed, Cignetti's current buyout after Dec. 1 this season is $6 million. That wouldn't even make some programs blink if they want to go after him.

Ionescu and Sabally Win Championship With NY Liberty
Lynx coach, "it was stolen." Well, you and your team had the whole overtime to steal it back. The Liberty's coach when asked about that quote in post-game said, "well, we feel like it was probably stolen from us in game four in Minneapolis."

Hoosiers Shuck Nebraska but Their QB is Out Indefinitely
Indiana led 28-7 at the half. The starting QB did not play in the second half. Final score 56-7 vs Nebraska. Cignetti's first season at Indiana, coming over from James Madison. 13 players from JMU came over, and 8 of them are starting for Indiana. 2 more are on the two-deep. 1 more is the designated kick returner. James Madison was a perennial FCS power. Those 13 players could bring the expectations, playbook lingo, etc. The approach seems to be working better for Cignetti than it did Coach Prime.

Oregon "Not Really" a B1G Team...
Not necessarily snow, but cold and wind are the B1G conditions -especially mid-November on.

Oregon "Not Really" a B1G Team...
Ducks had 51 of 53 coaches contributing to the ranking. High of No. 1, low of No. 7 (we're looking at you Doctor Lanning?) Georgia had the other 2 first-place votes.

Oregon "Not Really" a B1G Team...
Perhaps Oregon is supposed to be an SEC team? The Ducks are ranked No. 1 in the AFCA Coaches Poll released Sunday morning. 9 - SEC 5 - Big Ten 4 - ACC 3 - Big12 plus Notre Dame (ACC?), Boise St, Army, Navy

Let's Discuss! CFB College Football GameDay (All Other Games on 10-19)
Regarding under the radar Indiana. First year head coach Curt Cignetti had 13 players follow him from James Madison to Indiana. 8 of those 13 are starting among the 22 first-team guys, 2 others are on the two deep, and 1 of the other 3 guys is the designated kick returner. That's a pretty good culture infusion and shortens the instruction time for a new staff. His last year at JMU was 11-2 with those guys.

How Many Losses Can the Ducks Afford?
Indiana is leading Nebraska 56-7 and will be 7-0. Will play at Ohio State in November. Miami is up 52-38 late. Will be 7-0. Only possible loss will be in ACC Championship game.

How Many Losses Can the Ducks Afford?
Indiana? The University campus is 51 miles from the site of the Big Ten Championship game. Can you imagine what the environment for an opponent would be?

How Many Losses Can the Ducks Afford?
So far, this Big Ten season, the focus of difficulty has been on Away games. For Oregon, at Michigan and at Wisconsin remain.

No T-Ferg or Burch Tonight Vs. Purdue
Lanning post-game: Ferguson had an appendectomy. He hope to see him back soon.

GameDay Thread versus Purdue: Join Us!
"Novasad in before Moore." Each has now participated in two games. Four game or less rule still in effect to preserve eligibility for a redshirt year. Bowl games no longer count towards the 4.

Are There Some B1G Regrets?
Wait until you see how differently the games are called in Big Ten basketball. The Ducks better be spending time in the weight room.

The Big Ten and SEC Alliance Just Grows Stronger and Stronger
And, for the individual schools.... Game day revenue. Better matchups, higher ticket prices. SEC has lower season ticket prices than you might think, particularly in bottom half of conference. And, for some schools which don't normally sell out....looking at you UCLA/USC...and some others, more fannies in seats means more concessions, parking, souvenirs, donations.

The Big Ten and SEC Alliance Just Grows Stronger and Stronger
Why? Answer in the column... Sources said eyes were opened this season after administrators saw the earning potential of games like Texas-Michigan and Alabama-Wisconsin. Those games were scheduled before the latest round of realignment, but scheduling more of them in the future would raise revenue for the two conferences already far ahead of the rest of FBS in earning power. With major college sports about to be hit with the financial stressors of revenue sharing (and possibly collective bargaining) in the future, any way to generate more revenue these days has to be taken seriously. The Big Ten and SEC are seemingly open to the idea now that it has become possible in the expanded playoff to lose multiple games and still be selected. Those "challenge" games would enhance schedule strength and not necessarily penalize teams for losing them.

This Intentional Penalty is Next Level Coaching
Neuheisel talked about this on Monday morning on Dan Patrick. He said smart defensive guys understand the situation. He said he was coaching UCLA in 2009 and hosting ASU at the Rose Bowl. Same thing happened. UCLA recovered a fumble deep in ASU territory with a bit over a minute left in the first half. UCLA got a big run that went to the ASU 4. The clock was moving with under 10 secs. left. ASU was penalized for 13 men on the field which moved the ball to the 2 yd line, then clock continued. Forced UCLA to take a timeout with 3 secs. left and attempt a field goal instead of a chance for a TD they would have attempted prior to 13 defenders penalty call. He had no doubt that ASU's 13 defenders was intentional.
