  1. Oh boy, if that happens break out the popcorn!
  2. After Gabriel committed I think we all expected this. I wish him well and hope he lands at a good place where he can finally get some playing time.
  3. Dillon Gabriel and Walter Nolan are the two biggest priorities right now. Seems like there's a distinct possibility both will commit to Oregon this weekend.
  4. True but he's also taking another S&C assistant with him as well.
  5. Darn you Jeff! Oregon reportedly losing key support staffer to SEC program SATURDAYOUTWEST.COM Oregon is losing one of its top sports performance assistants to an SEC program.
  6. This one IMHO is quietly important. We need a replacement for Evan Bennett and Andrew could be it.
  7. Given CU's inability to develop quite literally any of the OL this season it'll be interesting to see what happens with him.
  8. I surmise that Moore really means that wants to be developed *while* he starts...so I doubt he'll come to Oregon to sit behind Gabriel. OBD bringing in just Gabriel is the most likely scenario, I just don't know if TT will stick around for that at this point. Feels like a 50/50 shot he'll go into the portal and Novasad becomes QB2 by default.
  9. Evidently development is not high on this kid's list of priorities. Good luck to him.
  10. Well deserved, LaMichael was an absolute beast on the field!
  11. Yeah, it was a rather quiet exit, easy to miss.
  12. Nope, he already transferred out. Just Florance now.
  13. You can definitely see why Dan Lanning recruited hard at DL and DB the last two cycles.
  14. 30 passing TDs vs 6 INTs, not bad. Add to that 12 rushing TDs, that's plenty of offense to bring to OBD. He was sacked 16 times this season though, so behind Oregon's stellar OL he would have even better stats I would think.
  15. A good senior season highlight reel of Dillon. Things I noticed: - Solid pocket presence. He doesn't panic when the pocket collapses, his foot speed looks similar to Nix however when scrambling feels more elusive like Vernon. - Despite being listed at 5'11" his arm strength and accuracy would be more than sufficient for Will Stein's bird bomb plays.
  16. Cautious optimism from me given that it's a visit, not a commitment. That being said, if things work out he could be a better version of Vernon Adams. I'll take that all day long.
  17. He'd obviously be a HUGE pick up and I hope it happens. DL also should do what he can to pick up Walter Nolen. Walter Nolen enters transfer portal: Former No. 2 recruit from Class of 2022 departs Texas A&M - CBSSports.com WWW.CBSSPORTS.COM Nolen, a defensive end, is the highest rated player to sign with the Aggies
  18. I think Arroyo was a better OC than most people give credit for. He was primarily stuck under MC's insistence on a ridiculously bad power run scheme...like the rest of the MC's coordinators, he did the best he could under that dark cloud and left as soon as possible.
  19. Yup. Pac12 gets $4 million for Oregon getting into the Fiesta bowl.
  20. Dillon Gabriel would be a really interesting get, in Will Stein's offense he would turn into a monster.
  21. Something also to consider: DeBoer has been coaching for ages and may have reached his apex. Lanning is only in his 2nd year as HC and has come up short by an average of only 3 points....3. One coach is more likely than the other to keep improving significantly over the next 5 years. I like Oregon's position right now.
  22. I get the feeling that Bucky was playing with an undisclosed injury. He just did not look like his dynamic self. Jordan James did ru more effectively but for reasons that escape me he wasn’t given more carries when Bucky was clearly struggling.
  23. Bill Oram at Oregonlive gives us the rundown on the Liberty Flames... Bill Oram: Everything Oregon Ducks fans need to know about the undefeated Liberty Flames, a football team from a university in Virginia WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM Oregon's reward for an 11-2 season? Learning how many former FCS schools now play in Conference USA.
  24. Theoretically the game should be over by halftime. That means TT and maybe even Austin Novasad will get the entire 2nd half to run the 1st/2nd string offense.
