  1. Yeah I think he lost it in the sun on that one. He just scored though on his 2nd try 😄
  2. Offense was moving well with the run, TT couldn't much about it. Wonder why they went away from it?
  3. Sanders has been sacked 12 times these first 2 games. If Colorado doesn't fix that OL soon he won't last the season.
  4. Tulsa's defense is doing a decent job considering the circumstances.
  5. Texas Tech might be playing angry after last week's loss. But I'm expecting DL to be ready for that.
  6. That's seriously not bad considering it's a trailer, even has proper bathrooms too. In any case, it's not like OBD are going to be in there more than 2 days anyway.
  7. They should put up a big ol' Bo Nix banner on a billboard that's on the way to the colosseum lol
  8. I don't like the sound of this... https://www.si.com/college/oregon/recruiting/oregon-ol-target-brandon-baker-picks-up-new-recruiting-prediction
  9. Definitely, I noticed this didn't garner any attention from other sites as well (even Oregonlive). Maybe they're all distracted by the 81 points the offense scored or they wave it all off because it's Portland State. In any case, I have another out-of-left-field guess: DL is trying to get game reps for as many viable defensive players as possible so that he can start rotating them in and out of possessions hockey-style like Nick Allioti did since there was repeated emphasis on the offense playing faster this season.
  10. Anyone's guess is as good as mine, I'm just surmising the simplest explanation...DL has so many guys on defense now that he's trying to find out who can make plays outside of practice. He knows certain players like Dorlus can deliver but what about guys like Ashton Porter? I believe that's what's happening, he's using the OOC games to figure out who can perform during game time and will have a solidified 2-deep figured out by the time conference play starts.
  11. Also practical, white will help with the heat until it gets to the evening.
  12. He's a good opposite to the LB's already committed to the class, they're long and rangy types while he's a bigger thumper at 240lbs yet still has speed. Should be a lot of fun watching him develop under DL!
  13. Live YouTube broadcast via 247 below
  14. TBH all DJ needs to be is average, which would be a significant step up from what they had last year.
  15. Matt Rhule getting the Scott Frost treatment hilariously at Nebraska for continuing the tradition of 1 score losses. Scott Frost trends on X after Matt Rhule's disastrous Nebraska debut CLUTCHPOINTS.COM Nebraska Cornhuskers football fans had flashbacks to former coach Scott Frost during Matt Rhule's awful debut vs. Minnesota.
  16. Cal surprisingly put up 58 points! I know it's North Texas they were playing but still, I'm a little shocked.
  17. Same here! I thought I was the only one...
  18. Absolutely could be a psychological thing, Camden Lewis had a similar issue his freshman year. For the life of me I can't find it but I remember reading an article that interviewed a college football scout commenting about Ty Thompson when he was being recruited. The scout said the 5* rating was primarily because TT had fantastic physical tools but was technically very raw, so he was more of a project than a polished player. Essentially he was railroading the high school level because he was just that physically superior but to succeed at the college level he needed a ton of development. Perhaps after 3 years TT is finally showing the potential that scout was seeing back then.
  19. If Oregon blows out Texas Tech by halftime or 3rd quarter then TT could get some run against actual FBS players. If he performs about the same against them as he did against PSU then I'd feel better.
  20. I'm betting the coaching staff is already gathering to watch and scout them out.
  21. Jayden Limar and Dante Dowell will fill in real well for Bucky and Noah when they move on after this season.
  22. BSU mounting a come back, back to back scores right out of halftime. UW's offense is all Michael Pennix, if he goes down with an injury they're toast.
  23. Austin Novasad getting some play time, that's good to see.
