We can only hope Georgia is the real deal and takes Alabama out of the equation....SEC>all other conferences ever...I'd love for the Ducks to play Georgia either first or second in the playoffs! I only hope (and pray) that MC continues with the current coaching strategy of win and win big against all challengers! Huck the Fuskies and win the week!!

Has Joe Moorehead Finally Figured Out Anthony Brown?
criticalduck replied to Steven A's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I respectfully disagree with you because MC told the fans the didn't like that "shit" and things changed more in last couple of games after than in all of his time here. The glasses we wear and drink from are different from our own personal experiences as fans. -
Crap! Oregon-WSU Game To Kick Off At 7:30 PM On ESPN

I get TV slots but the Pac should be highlighting Oregon games! Isn't this team the cream of the crop?? -
Has Joe Moorehead Finally Figured Out Anthony Brown?

I think it took some fans booing MC and staff for a change to happen. I do like JM in the booth better though. -
Turning a Corner with Anthony Brown?
criticalduck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
He will be consistently inconsistent. JM needs to call more dink-n-dunk passes. He, AB, needs to utilize his backs more especially in potential pitch situations. -

Watching AB throw "deep" passes I saw him throw 10 feet above and 5 yards deeper than his receivers. He just doesn't have the touch, feel to make those passes. It's like he has depth perception issues or is nearsighted.

Mario Scolds Fans: "No More Booing at Autzen"

I meant a one score win. -
Mario Scolds Fans: "No More Booing at Autzen"
criticalduck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I didn't boo myself but I am not upset at other fans doing so. I pay enough for tickets every year and I walked out of that game. The win against UCLA was nice, as Jon said, but it was only a point win by "the best" team in the Pac12. Charles suggest that we reset our expectations of a MC coached team. It is true because if we are expecting anything more than a one score win against any team then our expectations are too high. This is MCs best as a head coach...he has a winning record and appears he is "prevent" coaching. -

Five Takeaways from the UCLA Win

I actually like JM being in the booth calling the plays better than on the field. -
Do YOU Think Oregon Coaches WILL DO THIS?
criticalduck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
He's been behind even with short routes. Redd is one of the best and he misses him... -
Well, it's all a matter of Ws...we know better. Our Ws are just Ls waiting to happen...

So the reason for Oregon's stagnant offense is HC?...QB?...I'm hesitant to blame the players when it's a groundhog day offense for four years and...Herbert. Remember Herbert's freshman year being thrown to the lions of purple? He was mauled by a stout D and looked pretty good. His next three years were very pedestrian, aside from the Pac12 championship game...

Pritchard and Duarte making a case for staying and playing more years before going pro!

Prevent offense is the correct name of the style that MC likes. Many believed that it was the OCs that caused the problems...I "knew" before the pac-12 championship against Utah a couple of years ago that everything ran through MC. Love him as a CEO but he is too much of a micromanager...

Return of the Blur? (In A Bad Way)
criticalduck replied to Babyjesus615's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Chip will only have to employ the hurry up 50% of the time and that will have a huge impact on our D. They will be gassed all game long... -
The Rose Bowl Is Ground Zero This Saturday
criticalduck replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Oregon needs to win all the remaining games. If that doesn't happen I will settle for playing all games well, competitively, and beating the Fuskies and Feavers... -
I have only booed the refs also. I think booing players (from either team) may be excessive. I can see booing coaches though. I agree with Haywarduck that the pocketbook is the best way to vote, ultimately, but if the fans walked out just for one quarter or half turning Autzen into a visiting fan's dream that would also get the point across.

Cristobal will be Out-Coached by Chip
criticalduck replied to Cockroach's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I don't know, I was at the Stanford game and it was a wash until the end. Like many other posters' have said the offense plays just well enough to win or lose. I too believe Chip and his staff will out coach our coaches. -

Ducks give up more ground to running teams through the air... -
If he could pass to himself he would. The guy is as selfish as any QB can be. There are plenty of plays for all six games I thought just be a true, "point guard", field general and this team is electric! You do you and just be the first QB to be booed by the entire student section.

He could take that job but it's a guaranteed two years only. SEC fires coaches two years after a NC because they are not as good as Alabama or Georgia. Pac12 is the only guarantee of five years or more of average coaching.
