  1. I left at halftime. I couldn't take it anymore. I was angry and frustrated. I went out for sushi instead. I actually am considering dumping my six seats and using those funds for both basketball teams, the track teams, and serious celebration while attending those games. I've been a season ticket holder for quite a long time and never once had these thoughts--even when times were lean. I have never experienced the rain of boos for the home team. There have been boos for kicking versus going for a first down or touch down. Those boos felt like they were directed at the team and the staff. The team is not to blame.
  2. I don't believe that the coaches are actually running AB. I think he is making the RPO decision to keep the ball. There have been several plays this season where AB could have easily pitched the ball but keeps it and is stuffed. Other plays where he keeps it and scores but could have pitched the ball to the RBs and they would have scored. To me AB is trying to finish his college career with more stats. He is, in basketball terms, a ball hog. "Look at what I can do!" The team will NOT win, IMHO, with a selfish and stubborn QB compounded with a stubborn head coach. Chip was stubborn here at Oregon, would have won a NC had he not been, but he was innovative and won more than he lost.
  3. Coach Altman will squeeze the most out of the rotation like he always does. In Dana we trust.
  4. There is an interview with Dana at the beginning of this season where he was asked why he doesn't tell all the "news" outlets how good his teams are? His reply? He would rather let his team show how good they are then to stand on a soapbox and tell everyone. Speak softly and carry a big whoop'em stick...
  5. Altman and staff are doing an incredible job of recruiting and using the transfer portal. If they win the players will come no matter what their rank is.
  6. Hey now?! Please bet against the Ducks!! It give me better odds for a larger payday...
  7. It's an amazing complex! Can't wait to see real track meets there!!
  8. I love the Ducks being the hated ones! It makes me laugh...Give everyone else the accolades as long as the Ducks take home the trophies!
  9. I absolutely love this! When Oregon was a 12 seed in 2019 and everyone thought there is no way that they'll get out of the first round. They ended up losing to the eventual champions but even that was a tight game. If they didn't disappear for three minutes they would have made the final four because Virgina just squeaked that game and the rest of their games out. Back then only one of the pundits, from the west, said that Oregon is a scary 12 to face in the first round. I think the "East coast" bias works in the Ducks favor! Let's Go Ducks!
  10. All this love for "our" guy!! I remember being at a tailgate Herbert's senior year in high school. I was told by someone who lives in Eugene and watched Herbert play baseball, football, and baseball.. He told me this kid is going to be special--he said Mariota but bigger. I told him I couldn't wait to see!!
  11. BDF, I don't think Shough regressed I just think that he lost confidence. Once that happened he started second guessing his decisions. I know the coach was always a very vocal supporter of him to the press but I wonder if Shough didn't feel the same? We'll never know. As far as the offense goes, I still believe that coach hired JM for a reason, he needs to give his input and just let JM work. The pistol is a joke 90% of the time! Let's get to an offense the looks more like Alabama and Clemson. We have the pieces on offense and defense to be an all around stout team!
  12. Coach Altman just gets his players to play they need to play at the end of the year. This is his 11th year and no matter how many new players are on the team everyone in the conference knows that the Ducks will be a tough out. I wonder if some of the players that left early would have stayed how many NCAA final fours and championships would there have been? Payton shows what four years under Altman can get a player!
  13. I don't see the women getting past the second round. With all the talent on the team there isn't a strong leader to push the team like Sabrina did for four years. They lack that strong personality. What do you think? Have a look at this article.
  14. Remember 2019? They played eight games in 17 days. They had to play all four rounds of the Pac-12 tournament and won. I agree with geo!
  15. I hope he is the best QB for TT just because of all the adversity that he had to face. I agree that he would not have started for the Ducks had he stayed.
  16. As a side note, I didn't go to the last Rose Bowl because I hedged my bets for the guaranteed game against Utah. My friends sent plenty of pictures of me at the Pac-12 Championship game they captured off their TVs at home.
  17. I don't know which Rose Bowl I enjoyed more: Wisconsin or Florida State. They were both fun to watch but there were more trash talkers from Wisconsin that couldn't believed they lost. The whole stadium knew who was going to win the Florida State game! I enjoyed giving the trash talker from Texas A&M the business about Winston as a QB though.
  18. Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale. A tale of a fateful trip...Just seeing the video makes me smile. Not only for the win, the curvature of the field, but the old uniforms! Huard still hears it from Ducks everywhere he goes...
  19. Marcus has a better arm than Cam! The Patriots would be a great destination for him.
  20. I would have to agree with you about the ladies Mudslide. Since I played and coached there are a few issues I see. The pick and roll was executed well by Sabrina and Ruthie. Now we have bad picks and a lazy roll or a good pick with no roll, which clogs up an area of the court, along with a lazy pass. The best picks have been set by Lydia but she isn't rewarded. There are poor switching defenses and double teams. Leaving a shooter open to double team a post player who is already being guarded well? How many point blank shots have ricocheted off the back board? No touch or feel on those. They are a young team and they will get better but I can't help but scream at my 75" TV. The men also have instances of lazy passing, poor defending, and flat out not making the extra pass--you have to trust your teammate will make the open shot. They are rounding into form of a coach Altman team. When they are on they will be hard to stop. I must say that Franck plays the game like he enjoys it! Teams and players are fun to watch when it seems like they are enjoying themselves. The floor is an odd thing though. Is it on top of an ice rink?
  21. WEll, it looks like I'm going to the ticket market and planning my trip to Ohio!
  22. Does anyone know if this game will be made up? I heard a "rumor" that if the two schools can't agree on a makeup date, in the relative near future, that the game this fall will be done at a neutral site. If a "neutral" site is chosen I hope Las Vegas would be the the best place chosen. As much as I like Dallas, I am not a fan of "Cowboys" stadium and that always seems to be the stadium chosen for "neutral" site games like Oregon v. Auburn. On a side note, for a stadium that holds 120K people tOSU is only giving UofO 5K tickets. I know I won't be one of those lucky 5K but I would definitely buy tickets to see the game!
  23. I read that article this morning. It's pretty amazing how well he's doing with his limited minutes. Oregon fans have a reason to be proud with Brooks, Boucher, and Pritchard.
  24. I think we all can agree that going further in the draft is the best thing for Herbert or any young QB. You get to a team that doesn't necessarily need the QB to be ready to play and usually has some O line and D to ensure the QB doesn't get hammered into an injury mired career. Herbert's success does appear to prove that Oregon doesn't coach up players. The greats have that drive/ability and the rest are just good/average team players. I hope to see Herbert (and Mariota) play for as long as he's able. Good guys are not always featured in sports so I try to root for them as much as possible.
  25. Those are the two I told my friends about! JTT will be MONSTROUS get!! AD will definitely be an awesome addition.
