  1. In his latest Top !0, Oregon is No.1 and he has Indiana above Miami. 1) @oregonfootball 2) @GeorgiaFootball 3) @OhioStateFB 4) @PennStateFball 5) @TexasFootball 6) @LSUfootball 7) @ClemsonFB 😎 @Vol_Football 9) @IndianaFootball 10) @CanesFootball Almost: @AlabamaFTBL @AggieFootball @CycloneFB @BYUfootball…
  2. Yes, it is, The Duck, or Duck, like Elvis.
  3. I don't know, in this scenario it's definitely about the points. Say you're down, 28-10, and you get a touchdown, going for 2 and getting it, makes it a 10 point game. If you don't, 28-16 or 28-17 doesn't make any difference.
  4. Illinois, you're about to get some ILL-NOISE when you hear Autzen, now mind you, it probably won't reach the decibel level that Ohio State got, but compared to the Chamber Choir sound you get at a home game, well.
  5. It could happen. Alabama was favored by 23.5 over Vandy, OSU is currently at -25.5 over Nebraska in what seems to me an easy cover, just saw that DeBoer will probably survive this week, Missouri's leading RB probably won't play.
  6. Absolutely! it makes no sense that Dante didn't get the year! The team will be good, but with Dante it would have been Final Four good!
  7. My first favorite Duck was Billy Gaskins, 68-70, The Pit! Football is the King now, but Ducks basketball, Men's $ Women's will always take up a huge part of my Duck heart. Dick Harter was obviously the perfect coach for the Kamikaze Kids, Wooden hated him, and the other coaches probably don't care much for Altman. It is interesting that back before Altman was hired, Tom Izzo at Michigan State was a coach that a lot of people hoped would get te job.
  8. This makes me less worried about Oregon being treated as the newcomer this season. Ohio State was told to "Move on" here. It will take Miami type saving all game to keep No Pass Michigan in the game.
  9. 7-0 Indiana No.13. 7-0 Miami No.6. What's wrong with this picture? Indiana has never been behind this season; Miami has been bailed out the last 3 games! The U gets all the praise while The I stands for ignored. Cignetti > Cristobal, is anything more obvious?
  10. So many memories. Of course, it starts when tickets could be bought the day of the game. You could go and have a nice pleasant afternoon with a few of your friends. I don't remember specifics, but I know I went to a game when the Ducks hosted the Ilini, the Ducks won. I also remember a game against the Trojans and Ricky Bell ran wild. Of course, the BYU game, where the Ducks clobbered Ty Detmer, and it might not rain in Autzen Stadium, but I was there on the day that WSU beat the Ducks, 50-41, and Reuben Mayes ran for 357 yards in a snowstorm.
  11. At first, I agreed with this. But, in this Transfer Portal time I don't know. Gabriel is working fine, why wouldn't an elite QB slide in and be great next year? Developing a QB also isn't available like it was before. A team will always want to recruit top QB's, and Oregon is doing that, but the transfer is always an option.
  12. Junior quarterback Luke Altmyer is having a great season with his 66 completion percentage 66% get out of here, 66%! Dillon Gabriel 84%
  13. Try 95.3 The Score, or 1080 The Fan
  14. USC football fans might not watch the Trojans on Nov. 2 at Washington SPORTS.YAHOO.COM Wait a minute, wait a minute. It's blasphemy, sacrilege, to entertain the idea that USC football fans are simply going to turn away...
  15. Agree with you here. The mark of being elite is being elite every year. Start every season in the top 5 and finish there every year. I know that a lot of coaches aren't matching Lanning and the staff when it comes to recruiting/portal, and that will keep the Ducks in the mix for the Natty year in and year out.
  16. I can't fit Essig on my Ducks Mt. Rushmore, (Ronnie Lee, Sabrina Ionescu, Pre, Marcus Mariota) but he is a Ducks legend.
  17. Me and my aircraft carrier were stationed in Bremerton at the time and I was in Husky Stadium, resplendent in Duck gear watching the Ducks beat the Huskies, 34-10, in 1980. Reggie Ogburn a lot of fun to watch.
  18. While I deplore U$C and their sycophants, like Cowherd and JFOK, I won't dismiss them. They won't ever be the Carroll teams again, but with a competent coach they'll be competitive.
  19. I'm surprised tat while it was at it, the NCAA didn't mandate that the clocks go to10th's like basketball does. 95% of the time the clock is at 0 before every play starts.
  20. I wouldn't be that worried about Prime, as far as I can tell he's still, "Playin' for clicks." DeBoer would be a huge upgrade over Riley, as would Rhule. Indiana didn't plan on this kind of season when they hired Cignetti, they better have a new deal for him soon, he would get USC winning again,
  21. They tried. "It looks like they hired the wrong guy. They should’ve went and got Dan Lanning from Oregon,” Smith said. “The personality, to go from Nick Saban to DeBoer, it just seems like night and day. The level of accountability, the defense, the fluidity. I mean the roughriders, you don’t seem to be there. Listen, it’s bad. Because not only do they have two losses in the last three weeks, they should’ve lost to South Carolina. They should’ve lost three straight. I’m very, very disgusted. … It almost seems like the AD said, ‘You know what, I’ve been so exhausted dealing with Saban over the years, I need somebody that’s a bit more pleasant and ain’t going to hold me too accountable’ or something. I just don’t like what I’m seeing at Alabama right now. I’m very disgusted.”
  22. The last few years, the best Pac-12 team was UCLA Softball, but they, and everybody else, couldn't touch Oklahoma, who could be on a Wooden-like dynasty.
  23. If I was going to compare Illinois to a former Pac-12er, I'd go with Arizona, Some good players, usually good for 8 or 9 wins. You can't look past them, but this is one where Oregon's biggest opponent is definitely Oregon.
