Kirk Herbstreit's Memoir
Of all the analysts on ESPN, Herbie seems the most genuine. Desmond will pick a team 1 week, and the next week, they're garbage. We shouldn't expect a lot of insight from "GameDay", but if there is any, it usually will come from Herbie, who I think actually really does love it when GameDay is at Oregon.

Jason Jones Has Found a New Team
Really, with this model, Lanning doesn't even have recruit quite as well, though it doesn't seem like it will be a precipitous drop. With the upgrade we expect to see in player development, there will be a net increase in production.

Which Ducks are we Going to Remember at the Alamo Bowl?
This is what I thought. The biggest, brightest football stadium in the country is SoFi, right there in Inglewood, It currently is home to the Chargers and Rams. But I'm sure that if GK called, things could start going to get that stadium to host the Big Pac-12 Bowl game. Give the Rose Bowl to the CFP.

How did the Ducks Really do this Season?

Ohio State Doesn't Want all of their Rose Bowl Tickets
This is really going to be a referendum on OH. ST. on paper, even with opt-outs, I think they should crush UTah, But, every intangible is going the Utes way.

Ohio State Doesn't Want all of their Rose Bowl Tickets
I'd have to say that title still goes to the team from up North, While theeOhio State is an arrogant, pompous bunch, they actually have the achievements to back it up.

Which Ducks are we Going to Remember at the Alamo Bowl?
Sacks are still the easiest to quantify, but now "Hurries" are being tabulated, which can result in an errant pass, which might be intercepted, or at least incomplete.

Which Ducks are we Going to Remember at the Alamo Bowl?
By now, while a Sack is good, and easy to keep track of, they don't necessarily tell the story. Aaron Donald of the Rams won't get as many sacks because he is double teamed, which means it's that much easier for one of the other DL's to get the QB.

Kickers Deserve Scholarships, Too
I understand the idea of assimilating the kicker into the team, But this seems to do more damage than good. I don't want the kicker on the LOS. Don't think he's going to find the hole and take it to the end zone as an RB, or catch one over the middle, or get a pick 6 as a corner. They're kickers, and they do that better than anybody else on the team can.

Which Ducks are we Going to Remember at the Alamo Bowl?
No KT, no Mykael, no Devon? In the article from Scoop Duck, Jarrid Denney highlights some Ducks that will need to raise their games. Which Players will step up in place of Oregon's Alamo Bowl Opt-Outs?

Coaching Kryptonite?
Here are some highlights from that unforgettable game

Coaching Kryptonite?
I have the 2007 Oregon team, before Dixon went down as the best Ducks football team, Dixon had the Heisman, and nobody was coming close to beating that team.

Coaching Kryptonite?
Well, Captain Cane is getting an eye test every time he visits. He'll find out that we aren't hiding anything in our discussions on Mario.

Coaching Kryptonite?
This is where I think Kelly's problem is. All credit to him, he revolutionized football, and his winning % is unquestioned. But, was he a great coach? He didn't care a bit about his weaknesses. The biggest was recruiting, and when he tried to address that, well, it backfired. It actually is the case that Chip used Oregon as a stepping stone to what he wanted, the NFL.

Dillingham Attacking the Portal!
From his stats, superb is right for this guy, who would fill in and upgrade the WR Corps for the Ducks immediately were he to join the team.

Coaching Kryptonite?
Spot on analysis of those coaches. I tried to think of what would have been Bellotti's, and I couldn't come up with one. He moved over to let the Kelly train start, who knows if we hadn't got to the top and maybe stayed, if Bellotti had stuck around?

Cal and Wilcox to the Rescue in the Gator Bowl?
Yep. The 4 I remember were the Orange, Cotton, Sugar and the Grandaddy of them all, the Rose Bowl. No players sat out of those games, and fans across the country watched those games. The winners of those games were voted N0.1. Sometimes there was disagreement if the two different Voting bases disagreed, and that was great. It turns out that Oregon was involved with it all going crazy. When the computer Picked Nebraska to play against Miami, despite everything saying it should have been Oregon, the cast was set. Now, instead of fanbases across the country being interested the whole season, 5 of them now wait until the Invitational, and 5-7 teams can play in a Bowl.

Why Bo Nix Should NOT Start at Oregon
Justin Herbert would be the exception. I couldn't resist the Herbert reference. I agree with your thinking regarding Cristobal & AB, I've said before I felt like Cristobal believed that AB fit his idea of a QB better than the freshmen did, that's why he stuck with him. I don't think though that AB & Nix compare. AB was a scrapper at BCU and at Oregon. Nix played in the SEC and to have comparable stats against the defenses he faced and the environment of the SEC vs, what AB had at BC and Oregon, puts Nix ahead for me.
