  1. For starters, the coach just rubs me the wrong way, he's the antithesis of Lanning, " I win, google me", come on. Games are often seen as measuring sticks during a season, those games for Indiana were struggling against Michigan and getting blown out by an osu2 team with major issues, not running up the score on a woefully bad Purdue.
  2. This is a fascinating question. If it happened this season, but OBD went on to win the Natty. UW would have the satisfaction of beating the Champ, which they would conflate that to them being co-champions, that's how they get them there.
  3. Indiana has gone from a team I never gave a thought about, except that Penix played there, to one of my most detested, so definitely looking forward to taking down the "emerging super power". osu3? Ah, the Trojans. will they be playing for bowl eligibility in this one?
  4. It would be very expensive, even for osu2 to fire Day, and I don't see any Name Coach wanting to be the guy to come in. But, if osu2 doesn't make it to at least the Championship Game. it's gonna be rough.
  5. I agree with Cowherd, the first NFL job that opens up, Belichik is interested, if the NFL team wants him, he's there.
  6. He's great to work with. He totally gets it. He loves being a Buckeye, so we're going to support him at the highest level osu2 AD, Ross Bjork
  7. The Lanning Tree branches are expanding, and he's 38.
  8. More teams have joined the chorus, but I don't think any team will be louder on this than Washington.
  9. If Indiana gets past Notre Dame, I'll give "Google me" credit. If the Hoosiers lose, see how next season works out.
  10. As expected, a lot of former players of Belichik on the Patriots were interviewed about this, and one of them mentioned how he was coaching his high school players and he was going on and on, then he realized, "these kids have no idea what I'm talking about, I was using terms that Bill used when he was talking to us." That's what Belichik will be doing when he's talking to the UNC players, and what players will they be? A member of Belichik's staff said that no Bill wouldn't be sitting in potential recruit's' living rooms, "he'll have people for that" Yeah, that'll work.
  11. You got that right. Winning the Heisman has been the last thing on Gabriel's mind all season, making the decisions, executing the plays to get his team to 13-0 took priority. The player I would rather have been nominated for the Heisman, but wasn't, was Tyler Warren. He scared me the whole game! He also played multiple positions, on a team that made the CFP.
  12. So far, Lanning has bested Day & Franklin, I see a match-up coming between Lanning and Dilly, that will be good experience for Dilly. Lanning against Dabo would be interesting and of course another game between Oregon and Georgia would be for the Nattty. It would be epic.
  13. Let's see those CFP Final 4 Brackets and your Winner. Penn State- Georgia Oregon-Arizona State Oregon- Penn State OREGON
  14. As the Yahoo article states, "Hunter's ability to be a star on both offense and defense is why he's the player most likely to be lifting the award Saturday night." And yet, with all that talent, on both sides of the ball, Colorado could only get to 9-3, no CPF, not even the conference Championship Game, but great individual stats.
  15. You never know just by looking at the schedule. Big Ten Champion Oregon Ducks' 2025 schedule release has plenty of storylines worth noting in quest to repeat WWW.YARDBARKER.COM Oregon is still focused on the goals that are in front of them, but while they wait to figure out who their opponent is going to be...
  16. He reminds me of Mahomes. Not necessarily the flash, but if he needed to do a no look pass, I think he could. But everybody in the stadium knows that if the Chiefs have the ball with time on the clock, they're winning. I feel the same about Gabriel and the Ducks.
  17. OBD's biggest year of dashed dreams, was 2007. Dixon was the presumptive Heisman winner; the team couldn't be stopped. But enough about that. The Ducks definitely have the hardest path to the Natty, but rather than a panic I'm feeling a calmness; the flu revelation, ironically makes me feel even better about the Ducks putting a bow on the most dominant season in college football history. Lanning's "Opportunity" outlook isn't just inspirational. I never felt as confident about those other Ducks teams to get the 'ship as I do about this team. They truly will have to beat themselves to be denied
  18. Not to be cynical, well, okay I'll be cynical, the voters went as far as Travis Hunter in the nom's for this vote, the same way they will for the Jim Thorpe DB award. On Tez, they clearly never put eyes on his play through the year or they would have seen what he did, they looked at the stats, not noticing he missed 4 games.
  19. I don't know about this UNC just fired Mack Brown, who started there, went to Texas and came back, he's 73, Belichik is 71. The NFL didn't hire him when he left New England. he's never coached a college team. We see the amount of energy Lanning and his staff put in. Is Belichick up for that? Is his name going to have recruits lining up to play football for him at Thee Basketball School?
  20. Yeah, Sux to be you This sucks. Once again, UW is at the crap end of one person's career decision. At least with this one we won't have to deal with everyone calling us Stepping Stone U. Well ok, back to the drawing board with the defense. I am going to assume Bala and Sunseri go with him ... It will be interesting to see what our defense recruits do. I am assuming they will go to UNC or Oregon. I know Lanning was after ZRS. Epperson and RDA had Oregon offers too ...
  21. Of major interest to us of course is this means the Mutts are going to have to find a new DC,
  22. Penn State has a Bye before hosting the Ducks. The Ducks play defending "Conference Champion" osu1 before going to Happy Valley, then get their Bye.
  23. On the stats, Cam Ward is the Heisman winner, fortunately, that won't happen. Gabriel has made all the plays he needed to to keep the Ducks N0.1and undefeated. His 9 yard run against osu2 meant more for the team than any 9 yards Jeanty gained in the whole season. With Hunter, the once in a generation player, on both sides of the ball, in every game, Colorado finished 9-3.
  24. Exactly, he didn't even get that right! But to the main point, another all SEC Final would be the Championship everybody wants to see? I know the SEC just Want's it MORE. But WE don't.
