  1. And this is coming from the "Voice of the SEC" Paul Finebaum: "We're stuck with the same Boring Tournament" Stephen Samma On3
  2. It wasn't just the Pac-12 media. Arizona was unranked before the season started. So far Arizona and Gonzaga are my best teams in the country.
  3. USC has done it for years with 55 for its star LB, Oregon might want to start thinking about that. But, as Zachary Neel DucksWire details in, Jahlil Florence Announces his Jersey Number ahead of Freshman Season with Ducks. 6 has been worn by some great Ducks.
  4. WBB: Ducks Make AP Poll Top 25 Return Despite Close Loss to Stanford MBB: Oregon's NCAA Resume' Moves up, Pac-12 Projections, and Oregon's up and down Play.
  5. This is what is so exciting for me. It was great watching Chip's offense. But I can hardly wait to see Oregon D wreaking Havoc on the field now. Three play drives. Now we'll have 3 and outs. The defenses used to have "injuries" to slow down the blur. What can they do to stop this?
  6. It's the only way. The problem I see with the Pac-12 vs the other conferences is what we've known for a long time. The SEC, B1G, Big12, ACC, all its fans, school Presidents care a lot more about college sports than do their counterparts in the Pac-12. For a while it didn't matter as much, and USC was in a position to where it could carry the conference. Then Chip arrived and Oregon became a Brand. But the SEC saw what was happening. College football was devolving into entertainment, and the money exploded. Not enough of the schools in the Pac-12 care as much about competing as do Oregon and USC. Nothing against Washington Coach DeBoer, but he's not Riley or Lanning.
  7. You do bring up a great point when you bring up how close this was to being a great couple of games for the Men's and Women's teams. Both outplayed their No.3 and No.2 ranked opponents for most of the games, had double digit leads. For most of the games both Oregon teams were outplaying their highly ranked opponents, looked like the top 10 teams they were expected to be at the start of the season. But at the end of both games, when it mattered the most, both Ducks teams, let the games get away. It was bad, but at least the Women beat Cal, while the Men lost to ASU.
  8. Exactly. Everybody knew that, except perhaps, Richardson.
  9. Sabally misses close one, time-out Stanford. Oregon is called for another blocking foul, Stanford up 3, 36.4 left.
  10. Oregon starts the 4th quarter on a 6-0 run.
  11. Stanford takes a 1-0 lead on a technical foul before the game starts, but after going 0-16 on 3's against Cal, Oregon hits its first 3 against Stanford.
  12. And it was Oregon's problem this season, too much dribbling. It was noted on TV that for the last play the bigs were out, ball handler's and shooters were in. There were 7 seconds, plenty of time for the inbound pass to get to any of them, then he could pass it to another one, screens could be set. Something to make AZ work on defense. Instead, Richardson gets the ball, is guarded by a big. But instead of getting the ball to anybody else, eventually tries to get to the rim?
