  1. Just a second ago, Tessitore called it, "brutal". Unreal. It was a really hard hit, but I don't think it was brutal.
  2. For now, the best answer is Lanning's Coaching tree is looking pretty good. Dilly & Stein had such different players to work with at Oregon, it's hard for me to evaluate. Perhaps some others will pick up on specifics about either's gameplans.
  3. Oh, ASU defender ejected for targeting, will miss 1st half of ASU's first Playoff game.
  4. That's a good question, ask it somewhere else where we can really get into it.
  5. 38-10, ASU, 8:37, in the 3rd quarter!
  6. Saban already says that Oregon's physicality shouldn't be overlooked anymore, now they're picking up more speed, they are turning into a SEC school, no wonder they're dominating the B1G.
  7. ASU has taken control of the game, 24-10.
  8. I think Iowa State just got robbed, look like PI for about 5 yards, but no flag, then they missed a FG.
  9. Scat runs over every defensive player on the field in a 47 yard run!
  10. ASU defense stops Iowa State in the red zone.
  11. WHew! ASU's trick play pass by Scattaboo could have been a pick-6 or intentional grounding, but it's just incomplete, ASU runs it in for a td on the next play. 10-7
  12. I don't know what Indiana would do, the two best teams they played were a struggle and a blowout. Penn State is also a mystery, I agree with 4 out of 5, and expect today to be one of the 4. Georgia is scary, Notre Dame not so much.
  13. Sankey: " ...this is the strongest league in college football, and it needs to be respected for that.”
  14. Saban says it's Oregon's physicality that has the No.1; it's a clean sweep for OBD.
  15. No question. Michigan's QB should be better next year. But, if Wisconsin's QB had been better than average, OBD would have been in serious trouble. Mayland's WR was picked the best in the B1G, with a QB that was far from the best. No matter which teams played in the Pac-12, the QB battle was intense. Last place Pac-12 team would have given first place a much tougher game than the 15th best in the B1G would give the best. Power Ranking the Pac-12 actually took some consideration, after the top 4 in the B1G it didn't matter.
  16. How big of an impact? Take DG off the field, is Oregon undefeated, No.1? With Hunter on the field, Colorado isn't even in their CCG.
  17. Absolutely agree, "Heisman moments" all season long. Charles's analysis showed why I favor QB's in the Heisman race. He has been calm and come up big, and every play he has to make decisions in fractions of seconds.
  18. 75 yard TD run for Jeanty, with :21 left in the 1st half, puts Boise State up, 21-0. No Heisman pose for Jeanty.
  19. Absolutely none, there's only a downside. A loss for Oregon would drop them from the No.1, unless the Committee really meant it when they said they wouldn't punish losers of a CCG. Which really makes the game unnecessary.
  20. Fantastic body control by the BSU QB to get the TD, Ref didn't think he kept his knee off the turf, but irrefutable evidence says he did. 14-0 Boise State.
