  1. That cancer surgery can be traumatic in so many ways. Thankfully, I have avoided back complications, and hope it stays that way. Enjoy a healthy season!
  2. I am thankful that my daughter, a UO alumnus, was able to get successful surgery, today, to reattach her glenohumeral ligament (the one that holds the bicep tendon in place). Guess where? At the Slocum Center, by one of the marvelous surgeons who regularly attend OBD. Amazing how paths cross!
  3. Been there, done that... 1am, on a dark country road, in cattle country...wish I had video of the swarm of locusts, Or ginormous grasshoppers... or whatever the infernal things were we had to scrape off the windshield (and the air filter) the next morning.
  4. An earthshaking Duck victory is vastly preferable to the impending collapse of Mount Ranier...
  5. "FLYING FUR FESTIVAL"... Go DUCKS! Mangle the Mangy Mutts
  6. My, how the worm turned in the final 7 minutes
  7. My sentiments exactly... I actually think he would do better there than CAL. Plus he'd be able to have his linemen score an inside NIL deal on the Wilcox Family Farm!
  8. One of the media's push points the last few weeks has been that Oregon is soft in the Red Zone... On Saturday, 11/22/25, the DUCK D stopped USC, in the RED ZONE, twice, beginning a field goal from point blank range, that banged off the goal post, and a turnover on downs. "Are you not ENTERTAINED???" Gladiator's indeed!
  9. I cannot remember the last time a penalty for that particular infraction was called, let alone seen, in a major college football game... What athlete, at the CFP level, has any excuse for that move?
  10. How many uncalled face mask penalties were there?
  11. They whined when they lost to OBD. They whined when OBD received an invite to join the B1G. As Dad and Grandpa used to say, "I'll (OBD) give you something to cry about!", or better yet, "CRY MY HAND FULL!" There is a special feeling drinking Trojan Tears! Come to think on it, "CRY MY HAND FULL!", Would make a great GameDay sign!
  12. As Major Hoople used to say, "But, errm, Uh, Hack! Kaff... about those... SOCKS?!?!"
  13. My aunt and uncle lived near Remote... They managed several mortuaries in similar locations, in their latter years!
  14. Mark Helfrich is just as likely...
  15. At 61, I was still coaching soccer in all seasons, was bench pressing 250, and my Dad was 90 years old and still drining a cable link D7 bulldozer. Now, at 72, I'm watching the Ducks from my recliner, listening to my jointss creak, and Dad passed away just short of his 101st birthday. That's progress. Having ESPN and the SEC dictate "the CFPrules"Isn't... It's selfish, greedy old men in a smoke filled backroom, patting each other on the back and knocking back bootleg shots, while maintaining the status quo at the expense of the rest of us.
  16. Autzen seems to have pretty much been a problem for opposing teams for close to 20 years, based on the record...
  17. I look forward to Dillon's return!
  18. 22-19, with help from a last minute completion to Franklin to get in FG range!
  19. Since my step-Dad played for the Beavers until Pearl Harbor, I pretty much grew up surrounded by, as well as watching the beach rats play. I grew to like the Ducks in spite of that, which made some days of my youth more difficult to endure. When Dad's boss realized I was a Duck fan, he began sharing his donor seats with me and my friend, and later with my son. They were three rows back, around the 40 yard line, for quite a while. Im still watching!
  20. No way Beavis could afford to rent him, now!
  21. I just wish I'd got it on video. It was pretty funny!
