  1. Playing Colorado in the 2002 Fiesta Bowl, rather than Miami in the Rose Bowl (who stomped a Nebraska team that couldn't handle Colorado in their own conference) could easily be on that list many believe that Oregon may have been the only team with a legit shot to be competitive with that Miami squad.
  2. I'd take a million to never show up at their stadium... Wouldn't even need to be interviewed!
  3. My favorite PI of the game was late. Receiver and DB slap fighting their way down the field,, on 4th down, IIRC. Receiver turns for the ball, grabs the DB securely by the jersey, and crashes to the turf! Ouch!
  4. Did we ever actually learn what Novosad's injury was? I have been dealing with rotator cuff issues for years. That has the potential to be a nagging issue for a throwing arm. If the rehab is not complete, or marginally unsuccessful, it can be a nightmare in throwing situations. I don't know what the issue is, as I honestly have no idea what the injury was.
  5. Didn't notice any obvious egregious injuries, this game. I always sort of dread playing games like this, due to the increased chance of injury. Count your blessings, OBD!
  6. The close up of the cheer squad sure look like pain in the rain... At least some of the players got to warm up periodically.
  7. I'll take this all week long. I sat through too many frustrating defeats in the 70's and 80's to pitch now! Adversity struck, and the Ducks still won the day! Hope Moore has no lasting effects from that shot, and KUDOS to BT for standing in the gap!
  8. Stupid penalty. Great pancakes! Extra splash of syrup!
  9. Novosad on deck! Not the way I'd like to see him in the game...
  10. Purdue pass was batted into the air, recovered by the QB, fumbled, and covered by Rutgers to create the opportunity.
  11. Rutgers just tied Purdon't at 24 all in the fourth... Ensuing play, with 1 minute left, Rutgers recovers a fumble. Rutgers FG as time expires.
  12. Good riddance... Failing upward seems to be his forte...
  13. Terrell Pryor played at 6'6/230ish. Akili Smith Sr was 6'3/220... This could be interesting if his baseline skills are as good or better than his Dad...
  14. Looking more like his Daddy all the time... guys that size have hurt the Ducks on multiple occasions (tOSU circa 2010 Terrell Pryor/2015 Cardale Jones)
  15. Looks like a well maintained scenic forest byway...
  16. OREGON 51-6 3 TO 3 SACKS 301 YDS Emphatic Domination
  17. And Stein might be a package deal with one or more current Duck back up QBs
  18. How many QBs did the Ducks go through the season Dixon was injured? Oregon was down to a kid who was essentially a 5th stringer or something like that. . The following season went pretty far down the bench as well. Oregon needs serviceable depth at both Quarterback and center.
  19. Considering his status as a high level safety from in state, I bet the staff has the eyes well focused on potential.
