  1. Watching this game against U-DUH, the Beavis appear in control of nothing.
  2. Texas vs Iowa State... 3-3 at half time.
  3. 2nd and 23 is not a strong position for Penix...
  4. Dang, that snap on the punt was a kick to the castor glands!
  5. Well, FSU is no longer a threat...
  6. What's Bo's completion percentage?
  7. Must see TV, IMO. What channel is it on? Oh, wait! Seatgeek still has tix available for the 11am kickoff, starting at $3/each! Let's GO!
  8. The weather shouldn't be any excuse, today... it's supposed to get all the way up into the 70's, with a chance of showers. I've attended a few games down there where the temperature has been closer to 105. The Ducks need focus and determination. Certainly, they have the skill and talent, but need desperately to avoid shooting themselves in the foot (or anyplace else, for that matter!). Go DUCKS!
  9. I posit this theorem... could going for 2 actually be a false flag to fool tougher opponents into thinking Oregon failed to learn anything from the heart sundering loss to the booty sniffers? "Enquiring Minds Want To Know..."
  10. Oregon's defense was plenty good enough except for not playing through the whistle on one play against a quality opponent in their first MCG appearance, ever. Without the innovative offense of CK, we don't get to the game in the first place. Certainly their were missed (egregious) calls or poor discipline among the officiating crew, but stop Dyer by hitting him until the whistle finally blows, and the Ducks likely had the Crystal Ball within their grasp.
  11. Equally impressive was the simple post on 'X' of Sauphia Lanning... Herself and the three boys, on the sideline, dressed in green/yellow, with a giant, 'GO DUCKS', spelled out in the grandstand behind them.
  12. USC head coach Lincoln Riley drops $17.2M on Palos Verdes Estates’ mansion – Daily Breeze WWW.DAILYBREEZE.COM The seven-bedroom, 13,032-square-foot home sits behind gates on more than 3 acres in the Lunada Bay/Margate neighborhood. That's in another tax bracket than $7 million, but point stands... All flash, and no bang for their buck so far, on this USC hire.
  13. MSN WWW.MSN.COM "Oregon’s pass rush caused a sack, scramble, or throwaway on over half of USC’s dropbacks, which is the highest rate I’ve ever seen in a single game. Most of that was well earned, though I think on a few the quarterback abandoned the pocket for his own improvisation pretty eagerly. As well he might: just six out-of-structure plays produced over 59% of all yards USC gained outside of garbage time. Still, as explosive and mind-boggling as he can be when improvising, on a per-play basis Oregon’s defense was successful at containing the quarterback when he broke the pocket or they got into the backfield at a 61.5% rate." The numbers in this article don't include what the author considers, "garbage time".
  14. I've contended for years that there is such a thing as "enough" for some people... And been told I'm delusional, at best (Other, shall we say, less complimentary terms have been used on several occasions.). I believe Dan Lanning 'gets it' in a way many people don't understand. He wants to raise a great family, and provide for them a great environment to thrive. That seems to be his primary objective. Too many people fail to realize that finding an environment that facilitates that goal, while allowing the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of a job like he currently occupies, is superior to being in the position of potentially seeing your dream uprooted, along with the inherent stress that places on the family. Keep up the good work Coach! I'm rooting for you to have as long a run at Oregon as you and your beautiful family wish to enjoy!
  15. Now that's a put down of epic proportions...
  16. Any wonder young men will run through walls for this guy? I fully expect outstanding effort from his team this week!
  17. At these pay levels, it shouldn't make a difference, but Oregon's cost of living is rated 10% higher than Texas. Having been to parts of Texas, I'd choose Oregon's Willamette Valley based on the weather, alone.
  18. I don't see an potential boat race happening unless the Beavitch D somehow breaks Michael Penix prior to the end of the second quarter.
  19. But... I was positive MariNo-0 would be a top candidate! WotInEll happened?
  20. Riddle me this... How does a staffer on a $50,000/year salary pay for tickets to the majority of games, over a multi season period, pay for travel expenses, tickets, room and board for said observation? Slushy funds, booster shots, or begging on the streets?
  21. "Do as you wish boys, but for gosh sakes, don't prepare for battle!"
  22. Performance on the field may be an indication as to the veracity of film view deficit syndrome... Truth and Consequenes?
  23. So, you're saying Mason Cobb would not be a candidate for the transfer portal to Oregon? Gee Whizz!
  24. A throttling Duck D is the key from here on out, IMO. Foot on the throat, start to finish. Choke the opposing offense into submission. No Mercy.
  25. If I'm ESPN, Oregon would lose because the other guys are making money for ME! Ducks have been relegated to Larry's Loser Lounge broadcast far too often this season.
