  1. My bad... Should have been inside yelling at the tv instead of repairing the mower...
  2. Go Beavs... Take advantage of the holes in the trojan defense! HOPE that's not too much!
  3. I have little doubt that continued success at Oregon will have significant potential rewards for this staff.
  4. I love what I see beginning to develop at Oregon. If I had my druthers, it would be really interesting to see what grows out of the younger coaches being patient enough to spit polish the current product, and stick with Lanning for at least 3-4 years, and really establish a successful system. Develop an actual "coaching tree" that can look back and show the college football world what building a great vision can do for the future.
  5. Thanks for the exceptional effort and commitment, DNC!! My Dad once had 7 ribs broken within 2 inches of his spine, due to failure of a road construction crew to put flaggers out prior to a blasting event on highway 58, east of Oakridge. His recovery from the surgery was no picnic, but he's had a productive life in the 60 years since then. Here's to a successful recovery!
  6. I agree that Mario is a great coach... For an Oregon opponent. I believe Miami's pain has unintentionally presented Oregon with an opportunity. Run with it, PLEASE! How long before the U Boo Birdz fly?
  7. I would love to see this staff show a high level work resume while at Oregon, and potentially stick for a while. The reality may be, (probably to OBDF chagrin) that with the current cut throat nature of college football finance, we may not be so lucky, I'm personally hoping these guys have the character to stick it out for a while and show how special this crew is.
  8. "Pay NO attention to the man behind the curtain!"
  9. 6 or more td passes would be a welcome figure to see from an Oregon QB. It would be like having Vernon Adams in a linebackers body!
  10. Watching Loclyn's men take the field, I believe he embraces not only teaching, but learning as evidenced by his relationship with former players and, Coach Campbell. Dude may never be a head coach, but he could be a lifer as RB coach, and leave a nice legacy for himself.
  11. The O is clicking, no sacks on the season, and a lot less bonehead penalties than recent memory shows.
  12. Ducks aren't perfect, but it beats the old O. Nice to see them keep BYU out of the end zone at the end.
  13. Finger Duckin' Good! Lanning looks far more confident with each game...
  14. Boy's are definitely playing with a little fire in their bellies!
  15. It's going to be a contest to see which develops faster, the O or the D?
  16. Oregon DUCKS 35-17/2/3/305. Seems like time for a trip down Memory Lane for a Ty Detmer-esque Takedown.
  17. First win as a Duck, and the birth of a son... Congratulations seem in order. Now get back to work!
  18. What, you never attended a Deadhead gathering? Supervising a group of hs students in a concession booth on the North rim of Autzen was a 'high' point in my life...
  19. There have been 'fog bowl' games played in Autzen, where some spectators were delighted to actually see the ball pop above the fog on an occasional pass attempt. I think the smoke will not approach that level of impenetrability today. Hopefully the existing ash is vacuumed up prior to kickoff.
  20. - 43 yards rushing, with a stumbling, backward toss of the ball into the waiting arms of a Duck LB, whilst falling untouched to the ground sounds entertaining... 267 yards passing... Time for the secondary to rise above the ashes.
  21. Oregon, 42-17 2 TO 1 Sack 297 Pass Yards
