Although Rivers played for the Chargers for FOREVER, I can't remember him winning any Supper Bowl games. A few playoff games but never all the way. A good player but not a "Great" player. You don't want to turn the "Hall of Fame" into a place for regular Joe's. It should be reserved for exceptional players.

Oregon football’s incoming five-star quarterback from Mesquite High School in Gilbert, Arizona has been awarded the Maxwell Football Club Offensive Player of the Year award. In his final season at Mesquite High School, Thompson threw for 3,171 yards, 31 touchdowns, and rushed for 234 yards and eight touchdowns. He led his team to AAAA Arizona State Championships in both 2019 and 2020 and is ranked as the No. 9 overall prospect in the 2020 class. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound quarterback adds the honor to a list of accolades that includes All American Bowl Offensive Player of the Year and the 2020 Ed Dougherty Award (Outstanding Player in Arizona). He was named to play in the All American Bowl earlier this month. The big question is: "Can he fill the big shoes we have waiting for him at Oregon ??"

Injuries are always a problem for any team. I hope Sedona Prince can rejoin the lady's soon. The Lady's BB are in much of the same situation as the football team, great talent but "needing more experience together".

Bad news, Trojans: Next season will be a struggle. Winner: Washington. Elijah Molden, the top nickel corner in the conference, is joining preseason opt-outs Joe Tryon and Levi Onwuzurike in the draft. But that’s the extent of the damage on Montlake as tight end Cade Otton, offensive tackle Jaxson Kirkland, center Luke Wattenberg and edge rusher Zion Tupuola-Fetui are all returning. The Huskies are well stocked on both sides of the ball for ’21, although we’re forever skeptical about the overall quality of play at receiver. Loser: Oregon. As expected, senior cornerback Deommodore Lenoir announced after the season that he’s moving on. (He had opted out initially, then reversed course.) But at this point, there’s no indication Oregon’s top juniors and draft-eligible sophomores are departing — at least, not the ones we watched this season. The Ducks suffered heavy losses prior to the Pac-12’s restart with Penei Sewell and three starting defensive backs opting out.
