  1. I mean... We play an LA school and it's all about how great USC or UCLA is is and how the Ducks should just be thankful for being invited. New conference and a new set of bias in opposition to the Ducks. Watching the B1G final drive show... It still feels like the narrative is that Oregon was lucky. Sure we had some luck but we also played our butts off.
  2. Fun Stat... Ryan Day is 0-2 against Oregon. Only HC at Ohio State to lose to Oregon... Let alone twice. Chip Kelly is 0-5 against Oregon since he left. 0-4 as a HC and 0-1 as an OC. Love ya Chip but take this L and get out of here!
  3. Did Lanning intentionally take a time out to then put too many players on the field? It's 5 yards but it stops Ohio State from getting an easier chunk of yardage. It looks potentially intentional... And if it was that is next level. 6 seconds left on the clock was only enough time to throw a quick pass and a time out to then kick it for a long field goal. Instead OSU killed the clock and gave us the win.
  4. At least 3 false starts for Ohio State were caused by the noise.
  5. I dared to hope... But I didn't believe until the very end. And then my toddler and I turned on Shout and had a good living room dance.
  6. Ohio State isn't giving much underneath... But we can go over it!
  7. B1G officials aren't big on calling penalties for PI or holding. We're former Pac-12 fans. We are used to the refs throwing a flag of the defender breathes funny on a receiver. There should be a happy middle ground between the two... But there isn't..
  8. And Ohio State fans were saying all week that Autzen is too small to be truly loud.
  9. I guess if we keep taking the ball away from them the refs will eventually have to take a look.
  10. Remember folks... This is NOT an elimination game. We just all want to see better effort out of the Ducks right now..
  11. Even with the guards were available I doubt we'd see them. They'll need a good amount of practice time before they'll be ready.
  12. Another side eluded that it was not the news we want. This might throw the Ohio State game plan off too. We just need some other guys to step up.
  13. Don't worry folks... When Oregon wins a close one we go down the rankings. When Bama wins a close one they'll probably go up!
  14. I'm starting to think we need a guide for what teams we should be weekend fans of.... Because those are good additions. I mean throw Stanford in there to beat Notre Dame but that's probably a long shot.
  15. Let's see.. Today ina addition of being a Duck fan I am also a temporary.... Iowa, Oklahoma and Penn State fan... Go teams! Beat the other teams I dislike more!
  16. I think the sweet spot is find a transfer QB with two years. First year may be good... But the second year could be something special. Next year will be telling for the Ducks We all expect Moore to be our QB 1 next year but we'll have to wait and see. Nothing is set in stone anymore. Everything is up for grabs and everything is a competition.
  17. It's that middle or bottom middle of a conference that is usually the most interesting to watch from an entertainment point of view when they play each other. There is some wild stuff being thrown around. The top teams vs the mid to bottom usually are pretty boring games because the top has too many athletes. Top v top teams are exciting and lots going on... But they usually follow a meta game that is well tread. Nothing wrong with that but it doesn't usually bring in the surprise factor that lower tier teams bring. Just my thoughts anyway. This year as been interesting so far because I'd say there isn't a clear No. 1 team in the country. Texas's premier win over Michigan doesn't look too impressive anymore. There is a strong group of playoff contenders. But after that group... Everyone else looks pretty mediocre. If the old Pac-12 were around this year Oregon would be dominant by a mile. If the B1G without the West Coast schools were their own thing I think Ohio State would own this conference his year. Same goes for Texas in the old Big 12. The SEC though is a bit of a delightful mess. So we'll see how that shakes out. Also the B1G is going to see a major shift in who is the king of the hill tomorrow I feel.
  18. Former Ducks OC Marcus Arroyo is the OC at ASU. Didn't know that. I know he was fired from UNLV a while ago. Didn't know what happened to him until now.
  19. I get what you're saying... But I think in a year or two I'll miss it. It's the history that makes those games and rivalries special.
  20. Funny how Ohio State fans seem to forget the 2021 game. That was not an exceptional Oregon team but still won.
  21. Well... I'll just point out that in 2021 we beat Ohio State without Kayvon Thibodeux as he was out with an injury. I'd still rather have Burch on the field tomorrow.
  22. Clean up some errors and this offense will be rolling to the next level. I don't think Gabriel is as good as Nix. At least so far.
