Husky Fans THRILLED With Oregon at No. 1...
Speaking of all that NIL... . If this is true then it is certainly interesting.

Mariota & Commanders Crushing Jaguars
Good for Marcus. Now he needs to hold down that job. Then we need to get Gabriel a starting gig somewhere. I kinda doubt that will happen because he just doesn't have the measurables. But we can hope!

Ohio State Fans: "I Can See Fear in Their Buckeyes"
I think I like my line more from my last article. So I'm going to quite myself... "Ultimately, Lanning was right: the B1G is going to have to adjust to Oregon. They let a wolf into the conference thinking it was sheep and now they’re paying for it." And the best part is... Ohio State fans are feeling the regrets probably more than anyone else.

Berzerkly-Ugly: Cal Fans Turning on Wilcox...
I was just thinking with the Miami game that Wilcox was figuring it out. In truth Cal's biggest problem right now is how awful their offensive line is. Hard to have an offense when your good QB can't throw because a clean pocket doesn't exist and there is no run game tomsprsk of.

Let's Try Some B1G Power Rankings
I have avoided doing this until so late in the season because I just haven't felt like I have a grasp on the B1G as a conference. I'd be the first to admit that I'm just not a huge B1G fan but here we go. 1. Oregon - seems simple and a good start. To be the best you have to beat the best and so far Oregon has done that. 2. Ohio State - well they were the best until they lost to Oregon. So far so good. 3. Indiana - whoa... Deviation from the norm here. Indiana has a strong offense and a pretty solid defense. I don't think they could win against No. 1 or 2 but I think they could beat No. 4 on this list because I think Curt Cignetti can out coach James Franklin. Roster wise on paper Penn State as the edge but I think Cignetti beats Franklin.. 4. Penn State - undefeated and they've had some close contests but undefeated is hard to do and I don't see anyone beneath them being a better team. 5. Illinois - a good team that slipped up once so far. They are built like a traditional B1G team (which is agrue the top 3 really aren't) in that they like the run the ball and play good defense in a low scoring, grind it out, style of play. Not exciting to watch but effective if done right. But I don't think they can beat anyone above them as they aren't built for a shootout after barely surviving one against Purdue. This next section is a mess... You really could argue for anyone being ahead of anyone else here and I'd probably agree with you. 6. Michigan State - they boat raced Iowa, not that Iowa has any boats, and they deserve to be ahead of Iowa. It also looks like Jonathan Smith is starting to pull his team together. They had two back-to-back losses against Ohio State and Oregon which shouldn't be too much of a knock on them compared to everyone else. 7. Iowa - good defense still, offense is better than last year but still not a complete team. But still not a team that anyone would want to face. 8. Washington - our second former Pac-12 team comes in at least at the top half of the conference, and it's not an LA team. Washington can surprise people under Jedd Fisch. They beat Michigan with beating room and got blasted by Iowa. I expect them to be USC this next week. 9. Nebraska - earlier in the year I thought Nebraska was scary. Turns out they aren't. And that brings us half way??? Ughh super conferences are too big. 10. Michigan - still have yet to learn the forward pass this season. Their defense is good but not dominant. So stop the run and you'll probably beat them. 11. Minnesota - built like Michigan but with some upside. They lost to Michigan so for now they're here but I wouldn't be surprised if they move ahead soon. 12. Wisconsin - they lost to USC but they're playing better so I'll leave them here at the moment even though it feels a little high for them. Bottom group... Bit more clear than the middle but not by much. 13. Maryland - not a good team but they they beat USC. 14. Rutgers - they beat Washington but that was their high point. They just lost to UCLA at home which is embarrassing. 15. USC - they beat LSU while UCLA lost to LSU. USC can't close out games so I'm putting them down here even though they have the talent to be higher but they have yet to show it. Could probably beat those below them though. 16. Northwestern - probably couldn't beat USC. But they beat Maryland? Ughh no easy place to put them but when northwestern loses its often badly. 17. UCLA - they finally won a conference game so that puts them above Purdue. 18. Purdue - yet to win a conference game and got thumbed 35-0 by Oregon and their failure to put up any points as in part their own fault with penalties and a missed field goal. Here's my first shot at this... So if I got anything horribly wrong let me know.

Hoosiers Shuck Nebraska but Their QB is Out Indefinitely
Indiana is a scary team. Not going to lie. The haven't played a ranked team yet and they haven't had that difficult of a schedule. But we'll find out just what this team is made of soon enough. Curt Cignetti is an amazing head coach and turned that program around on a dime. This is what Colorado expected when they hired Dieon Sanders. Next to Vanderbilt they are definitely one of the most surprising teams this year.

Austin Mock's Playoff Mock Loves Puddles
Gut says Ohio State but because of rb talent but because of line talent. But then again maybe Ohio State abandons the run and just throws it all day.

Down Goes USuCk Again!
There was nothing wrong with that Pac-12 football product... It needed a team to elevate into the national title picture sure but from an entertainment standpoint nothing wrong with it. There was everything wrong with its branding. Being relegated to late night didn't help our legitimacy in the eyes of the east coast who have a lot of say in what happens in the post season.

Evening CFB Games to Discuss: No. 1 Texas vs. Georgia!
UCLA's record is still negative..they won today but they're still a long shot from making a bowl game. Everyone else having a winning record is good for us thought that's for sure.

Evening CFB Games to Discuss: No. 1 Texas vs. Georgia!
Watching this UNLV at Oregon State game... These announcers seem completely dilusional... They seem to be arguing that two or three of the MW+ teams could make the playoffs.... Seemingly based off having fewer losses than power 4 programs currently in front of them. Also... First round home games at Boise State or UNLV? That seems highly unlikely. Part of the argument is that the 5 conference champions get auto ranked 1-5. The 5th is guaranteed a spot but not an automatic home game.

Oregon Will be the New No.1
If only Washington could have lost to bye... Then it would have been an even more magical day. Oh well... Can't have everything.
-
Down Goes USuCk Again!
They'll talk about it... But if Lanning turned down Alabama... What in the world would even make him consider USC?
-
Oregon Will be the New No.1
All the previous no. 1s have lost. Not sure I want it. Give it to Ohio State for now... That'll make them happy.

Are There Some B1G Regrets?
All the rules changed over the past few years to shorten the game have been about extending ads but maintaining roughly the same length of a game in terms of time slot.

Are There Some B1G Regrets?
I'm a bad B1G fan... I just don't gravitate to any of their teams. Michigan v Illinois... I get it's a big game this weekend but I don't really feel like watching it... Nor is the style of play fun. On another note UCLA got their first conference win over Rutgers. So that's something.

Let's Discuss! CFB College Football GameDay (All Other Games on 10-19)
I'd agree with you though I keep coming back to how we have only had one game with scoring more than 40 this year. It feels like we're lacking some offensive firepower.

Let's Discuss! CFB College Football GameDay (All Other Games on 10-19)
Not going to lie... That sort of thing has me nervous. Is Indiana better than the Ducks? They don't play head to head... But we'll get an idea when they play Ohio State. I still feel like we leave too many points on the field.

Seriously... That coach of the year stuff right there.

Oregon's Defense: Purdue Went From 49 Points to ZERO?
And.. the two games that we did not hold the opponent to less than 14 were Boise State in our worst played game that was also a win... and Ohio State. Both ranked teams. So that's respectable. Just need to keep improving week to week.

No T-Ferg or Burch Tonight Vs. Purdue
On one of the pay sites a fan posted that on the other pay site that TFerg had an emergency appendectomy. So not at all sure how much I trust that info. But if true he'll be out for a little while but back and healthy in not that long. This week we had an easy game an next week we'll have a tougher game but at least at home.
