  1. Oregon is now tied for second in the Pac-12 with Utah, so whoever wins this game will be a full game up on No. 3 in the conference. Big game!
  2. I would disagree. Not only has the team been improved, but this defense will be that much more interesting and entertaining to watch this fall. High level college football has been improved as more of the higher end talent assemble at the better programs. As noted in my analysis...somebody was probably going to go with all the current defensive line talent, and considering the four new DT/NT recruits brought in. It is the nature of college football now, that whoever is not poised to play anytime soon will probably transfer. Look at the bright side....we'll probably see him again when we play Washington. While he will improve, I like the upside of what we are left with better.
  3. SIDEARM Integrations GODUCKS.COM Oregon won both games of a doubleheader Saturday against Utah, which entered the week tied for first in the Pac-12.
  4. We got Moore than we expected, as he gave us three scoreless innings, and Oregon wins 5-1! Final game Sunday at noon!
  5. No change after eight innings, and Utah is up for their last three outs! Brock Moore got us through the two scoreless innings, taking over for Grinsell who limited Utah to one run in six innings. Let’s hope Brock can finish this off!
  6. Still 5-1 Ducks after seven innings!
  7. 5-1 Ducks after six innings!
  8. Oregon up 4-0 after five innings due to Jeffrey Heard digging out a slider to score two!
  9. After four innings, Our Beloved Ducks still lead 2-0, and the lead was preserved with a wonderful double play!
  10. Still 2-0 Ducks, after two innings, as Grayson Grinsell gets in a jam, and then strikes them down.
  11. Oregon plays the third game Sunday at noon! ----------------------------------------- Our Beloved Ducks are up 2-0 after one inning due to two wild pitches by the Utah pitcher.
  12. Bradley Mullan got in trouble as we had bases loaded by the Utes with NO OUTS, and Logan Mercado came in a truly saved our feathered butts. Our Beloved Ducks win 7-5, with Game two of the double-header starting about 3:10 PM.
  13. After eight innings, the Ducks still lead 7-4 with only three more outs to finish!
  14. After being down 4-1, Our Beloved Ducks have come back to take a 7-4 lead after seven innings. Great to see Justin Cassella get going with a critical double that score Anson Aroz from first base. Fast!
  15. Oregon still leads 5-4 after six innings, with Ryan Featherston pitching in relief, and rescued by a sensational double-play from Carter Garate at third base!
  16. Had to show the homer-saving catch by Boettcher...
  17. After five innings, Oregon now leads 5-4 on a Jacob Walsh two-run blast over the right-center field wall. This puts him within one homer shy of tying the HR single season record.
  18. After four innings, Utah leads 4-3 as I spoke too soon about Gordon. Bryce Boettcher caught a fly ball a foot above the fence and saved a Ute home run from happening, and then hit a two-run homer himself. Good gosh he is taking off!
  19. After two innings, Oregon leads 1-0, and thus far RJ Gordon is showing great control in the drizzling rain.
  20. To an 11:05 AM start Saturday, and there will be a double-header Saturday with the second game starting 45 minutes after the end of the first game.
  21. And that was before Harmon... Count our blessings and and enjoy the ride my friends! (And USC did get a "B"...) 😆
