  1. Khamari Terrell is a three star on Rivals, but he is the fastest quarter-miler on the track in the nation. Raw with huge upside; was offered by Clemson, Baylor, Florida, LSU and USC as well.
  2. A Duck-Buddy in South Carolina would have the answer to this question...."just how valuable is a Cristobal playbook?" Notalot. As valuable as a cat at a Yoga session?
  3. It is fantastic that they are taking the football recruits over to Hayward Field to get a "big-time" feel. (Red arrow below) It is the schedule that an official visit entails... Below is the tweet it is from so you can see what the recruits see when they enter the accommodations set aside for their trip.
  4. This has taken too long, but it is shorter than how long they investigated Oregon and ruined a couple of recruiting classes! ASU OC Zak Hill Resigns Due to NCAA's Review Findings by Hod Rabino of ASUDevils
  5. For Dana to say that his team got "out-worked" is pretty damning; if these players want to win the remainder of their games, (and they CAN) they will need to give full effort and do precisely what Dana tells them. Anything less is a loss...especially in this wacky league. Thanks for pointing out how weird the conference is 30Duck, as I did not know that and would have thought it impossible.
  6. Is THIS what it is like as a CFB fan pondering NIL?
  7. I am delighted to learn of how the coaches want to stop the excesses. Thanks for posting this Notalot.
  8. EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon’s game against UCLA originally scheduled for Friday, Jan. 28, has been postponed. Additional information will be announced at a later date. The Ducks are still set to host USC on Sunday, Jan. 30, at 12 p.m. in Matthew Knight Arena. (Official Press Release from Oregon Athletics)
  9. Getting what they paid for at 8 million a year? Biggest con-job ever and it is legal!
  10. EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon checked in at No. 14 in the NCAA Selection Committee’s initial release of its top 16 seeds Thursday. The Ducks are 12-5 on the season and 4-1 in Pac-12 play and are currently on a five-game winning streak, including two wins over top-10 teams in Arizona and UConn. Oregon is one of five teams nationally with multiple wins over current top 10 teams and one of six with at least three victories over top-20 teams after also beating Oklahoma earlier in the year. Additionally, the Ducks have gotten its trio of 2021 All-Pac-12 performers back in the last month as Te-Hina Paopao, Endyia Rogers and Nyara Sabally have all returned after missing the majority of the early part of the season with injuries. The trio are combining to average 48.2 PPG in Pac-12 games while Oregon is 6-1 when all three are in the lineup. The Ducks are also currently ranked No. 19 in the AP Poll and sit at No. 12 in the NET computer rankings as of Thursday afternoon. The NCAA Selection Committee will release its top 16 seeds two more times (Feb. 10 and 28) ahead of the selection show on March 13. Other Pac-12 Schools check in with Stanford at No. 2, Arizona 8, and another team Oregon played, UConn is No. 11.
  11. He had a great trip to Oregon, but Florida has the last crack at him this weekend... 4-star RB Jordan James Sets Date to Announce Decision between Oregon, Georgia and Florida by Zachary Neel of Ducks Wire
  12. We have been discussing it here, but even some of the inside faithful at the "U" are beginning to wonder out loud about his hiring of coaches. It makes it worse that Lanning's staff is rated so much higher... "Some criticism is that despite significantly more money to spend than in past staffs, the waiting to hire coaches could hinder Cristobal." Mario Cristobal Graded Outside Top 10 Coaching Changes by Alan Rubenstein of Caneswarning
  13. I know as much as Sgt. Schultz because Oregon does not report anything on injuries.
  14. Nice to get an update and we go into another big recruiting weekend; give us sunshine again! Oregon Ripping and Roaring on Recruiting Trail, Big Returns from Another Strong Weekend on Campus by Steve Wiltfong of 247 Sports
  15. They are touting a coach that was great at a small college in South Dakota, when they ridiculed Oregon when Chip Kelly was brought in? His biggest reason for being hired at Washington is doing well in the Mountain West? I know a coach who won the Mountain West twice, and he was a coach for Oregon and is now at Texas Tech. GREAT credentials...
  16. jrw...that is an ongoing theme over the last 20 years, that Oregon does not develop character and Washington does...and it still continues. What a self delusion...
  17. Washington fans did NOT like this 247 review that placed the new coaching staff of the Huskies below Washington State and Miami...and WAY below Oregon's ranking. We had this link up before, but I had to share a few Husky reactions to it, and note some of the consistent themes... "Oregon has flashier uniforms, it's a new criteria used by 247 in evaluating the pecking order..." "Referring to Oregon Uni's; you catch fish on brighter lures or more visual bait. A lot of todays players are more impressed with flashy and show me the $, than a program that will develop character. Interesting that more and more NFL teams are looking for character." "I’m not shocked. DeBoer is a brand new name nationally. Don't know about everyone else but I’m perfectly fine with being under the radar." "The reference that "DeBoer doesn't have much experience as a head coach" is misleading. Including his time at Sioux Falls, this will be his 8th year as a HC. No mention that Lanning has never been a HC anywhere." "Probably because too many major college programs do not seem to consider character and integrity relevant. It’s all about the green and gold (or yellow)." "No surprise Oregon was over hyped. We are going to have to get used to Nike influence; exerting influence actively or passively. However, would you prefer being massively over hyped and not even coming close to living up to the expectations, or flying under the radar and surprising people? I choose the later every time."
  18. You gotta turn on the sound at the bottom of the tweet and see at what they are eating up...
  19. Wisconsin is not known as a "passing offense" kind of school, so this does surprise me. Keeps Caleb away from USC in another conference? Sounds good to me!
  20. As you may have noticed...there is not as much news in the off-season, so these kind of off-topic (OT) things are fun. Looks delicious! Former Oregon Ducks Football Star and NFL Player LaMichael James Has Opened a Second Killer Burger by Andi Prewitt of Willamette Week
