My Duck-Buddies....it is going to happen, as those who are not progressing or have great chances to break the two-deep will transfer out. Recruit five-deep, and find out who is best, and the rest will ultimately transfer. The first one for the fall 2024 Portal Transfer Out is...

Dan killed it even bigger in the Portal last year, and the whispers from pay-sites is that Oregon has been contacted by some big names who intend to move into the portal after this season with the Ducks at the top of their list to transfer to. Again...it is rumor, but considering things right now...it is quite plausible.

Well, Herbert was a Rivals 3-Star, so he was recognized, if under-rated at that. Not a walk-on like Wiepert.

Mark Wiepert was an all-star Baseball player verballed to Oregon State, as a catcher, but he blew up at QB at Wilsonville, and is the third QB to sign for Oregon for 2025. (He is a Preferred Walk-On, with NIL I assume) The last guy who walked on and played some HS QB did pretty well for us! (Bryce Boettcher)

According to Rivals right here, everybody has signed except for Gavin Nix, the LB flip from Miami.

I cannot restrain myself....over 30 years of watching Oregon recruiting, and I've NEVER seen this! The link is right here, but below is copied image of what I cannot believe... Oregon is No. 1 in the 2025 Recruiting Class on Rivals, the far tougher analysts! Now keep in mind...this is at this moment. If all who are supposed to sign don't, or another school gets a dandy recruit--this could change. But damn! The link to players signed for 2025 is right here, and I think 20 is it.

How the coaches are putting together an elite recruiting class, while preparing for the Conference championship game at the same time… Boggles the mind.

Ohio State has not run the ball well against good teams since they played Oregon at full health on the O-Line. They are damaged now, and Michigan exposed it further. Will Chip pass more if they face us again? I would bet against it.

I agree with Mike West's comments about the stubborn nature of Chip; we could have passed our way to a 'Natty in 2010, and Chip is being stubborn to a fault at osu2 now. In the NFL...he ran an offense that required a mobile QB, but got statues to prove he could do it without a mobile QB. His pride is more important than winning....and thus why his Oregon days were his best.

Players will be signing through the day, so we are waiting on more. If all signed that have verballed....Rivals says we end up with the No. 3 Recruiting Class in the nation with only 19 players, but the highest quality ratings. The most Rivals 5-Star players we have signed in a year was two, and we did that a couple of times. But this year--if everyone signs as indicated....Oregon would have FOUR of the coveted 5-Star players on Rivals.
