FORGET the 2025 Season: Ducks Better Savor This Year…
Don't sleep on Montana State they beat Idaho 38-7 this year and are currently undefeated. They will have a 4 year starter at QB and one of the best Defenses in the FCS. They just may wine their own national championship this year. I might be a little bias being that I when to Montana State. Lol

FORGET the 2025 Season: Ducks Better Savor This Year…
I don't think replacing the talent is the problem, team cohesion seems to be the biggest issue with bringing in so many portal players. Having some key players around like Ferguson, Johnson, Cornelius, etc. help these incoming players transition, especially at QB, into a new culture with a new playbook. This is very important on D as well. Many of the Ducks early season troubles were miscues and penalties due to lack of playing together. The more starters you lose the bigger the chance of dropping an early season game.

Play NINE Games and Still Redshirt?
Can't wait for him to come back and play opposite Muhammad. Reed has gotten a lot better this year but he's a twitch slower that Florence at full health. I'm so confused on how long a players can stick around nowadays but I would love to have Florence for as long as possible.

Oregon's Defense: Purdue Went From 49 Points to ZERO?
Truly a Defence that is really rounding into shape! When's the last time the Ducks had this complete of a D line? The Depth at D line is on a level rarely seen in green and yellow. Harmond is next level and Caldwell is not much of a drop off. Uiagalelei is always around the ball, Tuioti is rocking it. Both these guys are taking a big sophomore leap forward. The DBs are really starting to gel. The law firm of Johnson & Johnson are laying down the law, Muhammad is doing what Muhammad does. I really have to hand it to Nikko Reed for stepping up big against tOSU and the NFL level talent. LBs have the hardest jobs. I'm most impressed with the emergence of Jackson his speed allows him to cover a lot of field and he has also taken a big leap forward.

Disappointed in National Coverage of Oregon vs. Ohio State
I'm being a little nitpicky and not referring to just this game, there's been a lot of penalties that have cost a lot of points. This team is getting better and better by the game and a little bit of polish would make this team unstoppable on O. I'm just excited to watch that progress every game and soon this offensive will look like last year's team in that they will be efficient and executing on a high level. DG is almost exactly where Nix was in his first year, too bad we don't get him for another year.

Disappointed in National Coverage of Oregon vs. Ohio State
If Oregon could cleans up their game by not commit so many bad penalties, make field goals and better game management decisions. They could be scary good on offence.

Ducks Move to No. 3 in Both Polls
Like 30Duck said neither should fall far for losing to a top 3 team, Georgia sure didn't. If your only loss is to a top 3 team you should probably stay ahead of the team that lost to a 2-2 team and the team that lost to a 3-2 team. Just like how Georgia is ahead of Alabama and Tennessee. Those of us that have been PAC-12 fans know all to well that that kinda of math is not a factor if SEC teams are in the mix. You're probably right if Oregon loses to tOSU they will probably drop below the two teams that were recently embarrassed on national TV. Given the normal SEC bias that is. Sorry nothing personal I know you're a good guy but getting hosed so many times in the past makes me jaded.

USC Fans Blame the Officials for Loss to Michigan
The BG1 refs protect the blue blood teams and always have just like the SEC. USC is just a carpet bagger in the eyes of the conference officials. tOSU game had some calls that changed the momentum and it certainly wasn't in Marshall's favor. I'm sure we will be granted no favors in our games unless it's against the bottom half of conference.

Post Boise State Game Discussion!
Finally got to watch the game, thanks Charles. This game could easily have been 14 to 48 had just a few things been cleaned up like dumb penalties and fumbles. Sacks happen and the O line looked better, give DG A little more time and those down field throws will happen more often. Don't lose faith The team will be doing just fine if it can just clean up the dumb stuff.

NFL GameDay Discussion, Scores & Updates (Herbert Wins & Nix Doesn't)
Bo had his moments with lots of short passes. When he did throw down field he had some really bad one mostly because he should have never throw the ball in the first place and timing with receivers was off. The plus side is at the end of the game trying for the come back he got into a better rhythm and had some really nice throws, one back shoulder throw in particular was a thing of beauty. A little deer in the headlights but once he settled down and relaxed little he started to figure it out. Showed good leadership and communication for rookie. Would you expect anything less.

Plenty to Quack About in Oregon’s 24-14 Win Over Vandals
DG is a mobile QB but putting him in harms way against an opponent like Idaho generally ends up being a bad decision. Pretty much every running QB we've ever had has been knocked out by desperate QB run plays. If Gabriel has to run to beat a FCS team then manny things are very wrong with this team.

Plenty to Quack About in Oregon’s 24-14 Win Over Vandals
On a further note the defense looked great other than the DB playing the other side of the ball from Muhammad.

Plenty to Quack About in Oregon’s 24-14 Win Over Vandals
One of Idaho's TDs was on a trick play from the 37 yard line because we decided it would be a good idea to go for it on 4th and inches in our own territory. Reed bit hard on the fake leaving his guy with a clear path to the end zone. I know there's been a few times that fake punts and 4th and inches deep in our own territory has work but it's also cost us the game a few times. DL should reassess the strategy and see if it's really worth the 50/50 shot and the momentum swing that this brings. If he want to get aggressive throw the ball down the field rather then throwing the ball short of the sticks on third down.

I Only Have One Word for This Game...
Do remember that Dillon Gabriel hit his hand on a defenders helmet early in the game, this could definitely affect his throwing hand and could be part of the reason he didn't throw deep. The sky is not falling and Idaho is a better team than most people are giving them credit for. This game reminds me of Fresno State game in 21 that was way to close and everyone was freaking out. The next game we beat the Buckeyes.

GameDay Thread versus Idaho: Join Us!
Idaho's D was good last year but that was against Big Sky teams. I'm a little scared for Montana State. Can't believe their DL is standing up our Big bruiser on the OL.

First game jitters, most all the games I've watched today the first half is pretty uninspiring. Time to make some adjustments at halftime and come out with some solid OL play.

QUAAACK!! Five-Star Safety Trey McNutt Is A Duck!!
Big get for a position of need. The one thing this defence has been missing is NFL level play from a safety. We've been spoiled in the past with some amazing safety that where game changed. Let's hope this is a step in that direction.

Ducks Lose 10-6 to Aggies in Super-Regional
Let me be clear I love Coach Waz and he's done an amazing job. It's all about coaching style and for me I would give the freshman a fairly short leash in a big game with probably the biggest crowd he's ever played in front of. Just some minor strategy adjustments is all I suggest. That being said I know you have to stand behind your pictures. Let them face adversity and get themselves out of trouble to build confidence and resiliency. Waz is taking the team in a great direction. He needs to hone his game just like Dan Lanning is doing and they both are getting better every year.

Ducks Lose 10-6 to Aggies in Super-Regional
Personally I think he should have come in 2 batters earlier while it was still a game, then if needed keep him in to get the win. I think Waz let's the pitches stay in the game for too long when they start throwing wild pitches or hitting multiple batters it's time to go.
