  1. On a further note the defense looked great other than the DB playing the other side of the ball from Muhammad.
  2. One of Idaho's TDs was on a trick play from the 37 yard line because we decided it would be a good idea to go for it on 4th and inches in our own territory. Reed bit hard on the fake leaving his guy with a clear path to the end zone. I know there's been a few times that fake punts and 4th and inches deep in our own territory has work but it's also cost us the game a few times. DL should reassess the strategy and see if it's really worth the 50/50 shot and the momentum swing that this brings. If he want to get aggressive throw the ball down the field rather then throwing the ball short of the sticks on third down.
  3. Do remember that Dillon Gabriel hit his hand on a defenders helmet early in the game, this could definitely affect his throwing hand and could be part of the reason he didn't throw deep. The sky is not falling and Idaho is a better team than most people are giving them credit for. This game reminds me of Fresno State game in 21 that was way to close and everyone was freaking out. The next game we beat the Buckeyes.
  4. Idaho's D was good last year but that was against Big Sky teams. I'm a little scared for Montana State. Can't believe their DL is standing up our Big bruiser on the OL.
  5. This is a little embarrassing.
  6. First game jitters, most all the games I've watched today the first half is pretty uninspiring. Time to make some adjustments at halftime and come out with some solid OL play.
  7. Are many of you able to get the game on TV? Mateo is looking good covering the flats.
  8. Big get for a position of need. The one thing this defence has been missing is NFL level play from a safety. We've been spoiled in the past with some amazing safety that where game changed. Let's hope this is a step in that direction.
  9. Looks like a grade A shopping list for Dan!
  10. Let me be clear I love Coach Waz and he's done an amazing job. It's all about coaching style and for me I would give the freshman a fairly short leash in a big game with probably the biggest crowd he's ever played in front of. Just some minor strategy adjustments is all I suggest. That being said I know you have to stand behind your pictures. Let them face adversity and get themselves out of trouble to build confidence and resiliency. Waz is taking the team in a great direction. He needs to hone his game just like Dan Lanning is doing and they both are getting better every year.
  11. Personally I think he should have come in 2 batters earlier while it was still a game, then if needed keep him in to get the win. I think Waz let's the pitches stay in the game for too long when they start throwing wild pitches or hitting multiple batters it's time to go.
  12. Oregon bats are looking good today!
  13. Thanks for the updates, I was working tonight and the quick glance at Fishduck was all I could manage. At least I cought the last to innings on streaming Radio.
  14. Top of the 6th 9-5 Oregon. Ducks are hitting well. Fun game to tune into, PAC 12 Networks
  15. Looks like a good a good Couisnard replacement with solid drives to basket just need to get that 3 point shot percentage up on only sitting 30% list year.
  16. Novosad has really stepped up his game and what an arm, haven't seen that velocity around in a few years.
  17. Being a Raiders fan I'm not happy about this, for some reason I don't hate the Charges as much as I hate the Broncos.
  18. The Ducks greatest need has been filled. Last year this was the body type we were really missing. That Dillon Brooks kinda guy who is dangerous from anywhere and can handle the ball if needed.
  19. If I remember a game not to long ago, I believe it was Gordon, who hit four batters and they still left them in.
  20. Why do they do this? I feel like the Coaches tend to leave struggling pitcher in longer than seems pertinent. The bullpen is deeper this year than in years past with some pretty good mid relievers.
  21. As far as I'm concern you can't have enough defensive backs and the safety play the last few years hasn't been that exciting. Mathews would be a welcome addition. But I'm so sure we need more running backs.
  22. Had to work tonight, thanks for summing up the game.
  23. Invested in the S&P 500 for the next 20 years and when he's 40 he'll have 5 million in the market and another 750k of dividends to play around with. Just hope these guys are getting some decent investment advice.
  24. Being a Raiders fan I really hope he doesn't go to Denver but being a Bo Nix fan I really hope he doesn't go to the raiders. I really hope he has a chance to learn for a few years from a veteran before being tossed to the wolves. Maybe the 49ers need a backup I believe that system might be a good fit for Bo's skill set.
  25. Stubblefield and Altman are the yen and yang type of coaches that can provide a team with a little more balance and cohesiveness. Not all players connect and learn in the same fashion and having a strong assistant coach, That's on the same page, helps the team to gel quicker and be more resilient. In the transfer portal era the Ducks have struggled to solidify their team in to a cohesive unit like the teams when Stubblefield was around. We've got plenty of talent to work with now's the time to put it all together a make a deep run in the tournament.
