  1. Winner: THE Oregon Ducks 39-7 😁 2 Forced TOs 2 Sacks 333 Passing yards MASH + BASH MICHIGAN! Saturday Weather in Ann Arbor - Partly Cloudy with a high of 53 degrees. No country for Old Men!
  2. Doctor, J, are you a South Carolinian? Good call on USC - East. Not every game but the best experience IMO is a White Out at Penn State.
  3. Michigan is playing a style of O that Bo would love. But with BO-like Rose Bowl results.😁
  4. CBS Sports Experts All Have OBD Winning Saturday, Two Do Not Think OBD Will Cover. BLASPHEMY! Michigan vs. Oregon prediction, pick, football game odds, spread, live stream, where to watch, TV channel - CBSSports.com WWW.CBSSPORTS.COM The Ducks are the No. 1 team in college football, but this will be their toughest road test yet Gabe, Over/Under 270 yards passing. I like the Over. 😍
  5. I have been in Michigan Stadium for six games. Three vs Notre Dame, one versus FSU when Prime was playing for Bobby Bowden, and Elvis (Grbac) was the QB for the Wolverines. One game vs.Penn State, and the Kordell Stewart Hail Mary game when my daughter was a Junior at CU.😍 If you haven't been to the Big House, from the outside you wonder how 100K+ people could fit into this? Then after wandering through thousands of tailgaters, you enter and see that two-thirds of the stadium is below ground. Is it comfortable? No. Does it reek of tradition? Yes. Stay in your seat at half time, the band puts on a terrific show. It's worth a trip. Ann Arbor is a great college town with lots of fun places to wine and dine. (OK, it's more brewski than wine. 😁)
  6. Heard yesterday on B1G Today. Urban Meyer - 'The most difficult position to recruit today is on the O line.' tOSU did bring in its starting center and safety from Bama but most of the $20M went to skill players. No matter the potential, no RB can run without at least average blocking. But I do believe as do many Buckeyes fans, that Chip ran the ball far too often vs Nebraska and failed to use the talent at WR. Kind of reminds me of a game vs Auburn and $cam.
  7. Will Howard is Looking for Payback. James Franklin for an Elusive B1G Win. Ryan Day has Heard Day After Day that He Can't Win the B1G Ones. SOMETHING has Got to Give. No. 3 Penn State eyes validation while No. 4 Ohio State QB Howard seeks vindication in Big Ten clash APNEWS.COM No. 3 Penn State hosts fourth-ranked Ohio State in a showdown that will have ripple effects on both the Big Ten and College Football Playoff races.
  8. What a Difference a Year Makes. Maize + Brew is Hoping for a 'Moral Victory.'😁 No. 1 Oregon Ducks at Michigan Wolverines Preview: Moral victories WWW.MAIZENBREW.COM A rough season is only going to get tougher with an absolutely loaded November schedule. Michigan begins this stretch by welcoming top-ranked Oregon to the Big House on Saturday. Our... In the last five Money Ball games vs Michigan, Football is 2-0 and Basketball is 3-0. 😍 Michigan Man - "Who was the idiot who let these Ducks on our front lawn! They're mistakes, and then there are B1G mistakes."
  9. Go Ducks Chats with Maize + Brew Getting to know Oregon with GoDucks.com’s Rob Moseley WWW.MAIZENBREW.COM No. 1 Oregon is coming to Ann Arbor on Saturday. Trevor Woods spoke with Rob Moseley from GoDucks.com to preview Michigan vs. Oregon.
  10. HUH? I'm saying that in the latest AP Poll Oregon has 3 wins over ranked teams. A far better resume than Penn State. But come Tuesday, the AP Poll will be yesterday's news. I expect Indiana will be in the Committee's top 10 and Mizzou will not be ranked. I am not saying that Boise would defeat Ohio State, but I don't understand how that is relevant to Penn State's ranking. Boise is a top-25 team that was defeated by OBD. FACT. Not speculation.
  11. WHY? Because they beat West Virginny or had a close win vs. Kent State and won at Wisconsin? OBD has a better resume. Meanwhile, the Ducks defeated a ranked Boise State and both would have defeated Ohio State. Oregon defeats Michigan on Saturday and PSU defeats Ohio State: 1 OREGON. 2. Georgia, 3. Penn State.
  12. 1998 BILLY: "The BCS is PERFECT! More than TWO teams Playing for a College Football Title Would RUIN the Regular Season!" 2014 BILLY: "The 4-Team College Football Playoff is PERFECT! More than FOUR teams Playing for a Title Would RUIN the Regular Season!" 2024 BILLY: "A 12-Team College Football Playoff is PERFECT! Before making any other pronouncements, I am exiting Stage Left." In a sport filled with CANARDS, has there ever been a bigger CANARD than 'THIS' Will Ruin the Regular Season?' 26 football teams plus 12 or so more if you project chaos are in the CFB Playoff mix. And more games will be Remembered in November since 1869 when Princeton played Rutgers. Except for Beavers games 😁 more viewers are tuning into games in 2024 than ever before. And game attendance has again improved for the second season in a row. Mega Conferences and the Loss of Traditional Matchups Will Destroy CFB! 2024 sees the return of Texas vs Texas A+M, The Holy War between an unexpected undefeated BYU team, and a disappointing Utah team, and it's not a rivalry game but Texas, now 4-8-1 versus Vandy visited Nashville for the first time in 96 years! And OBD's 1st game vs. Michigan since 2007. 😍 Puddles, Punish, Pulverize, Plaster, Paste Michigan. Moore and Moore like you did all Day long!

  15. GO, GO, BO! Denver was in the Bo Know. Bo Nix captures NFL honor for month of October SATURDAYTRADITION.COM Bo Nix is putting up some big numbers for the Denver Broncos in his rookie season.
  16. 9 Losses in 6 Seasons. Coach, You Stink! Forget Michigan. For Ryan Day, Penn State might be the most important game SATURDAYTRADITION.COM Ohio State doesn't have any wiggle room left. It has to beat Penn State to stay in contention to reach the B1G title game ... and possibly the Playoff.
  17. It's part and parcel of today's portal CFB. These talking heads NEVER shut up while making Obscure insights into the Obvious. Way back in the day, we had 1 announcer in the booth who may have had an on-air mute spotter. If a sideline reporter tried to interview Vince Lombardi during the game, the reporter would have been punched out, run over, but definitely ignored. THIS is what you heard between plays: "3rd down and 4 to go." There was no video replay so no 'Upon Further Review.' No (un)Social Media so bad calls were brought up the next day in your local paper. Also, there was no trash-talking and no showing off after scoring a TD, making a tackle, or sacking the QB you could plaster were with almost total immunity. And the B1G Guys! 240-pounders were D linemen. Not claiming it was better, but broadcasts were more focused on football as a game instead of entertainment. Then, Howard Cosell, Dandy Don, Keith Jackson, and other stars showed up in the booth. One certain thing is Change.
  18. One of the Keys to OREGON Becoming Nationally Relevant - 2007 in the B1G House. 627 Yards on O and 4 Takeaways. "Let's Go Back, Get Together, and Do It Again!" 😍 Oregon launched national title hopes at the Big House in 2007. Can it finish the job in 2024? WWW.NYTIMES.COM Much has changed since Oregon beat Michigan 39-7 in its last visit to Ann Arbor in 2007. Now, the Ducks are in the Big Ten too — and No. 1.
  19. Key Match-Ups From a Michigan POV. Key Matchups: Michigan vs. No. 1 Oregon WWW.MAIZENBREW.COM To pull off a major upset this weekend, Michigan needs to take advantage of three key matchups against the Oregon Ducks. Here are the ones we’ll be watching on Saturday.
  20. Good Luck. Yuck, Yuck. How Michigan’s secondary plans to slow down Oregon’s receiving corps, limit explosive plays WWW.MAIZENBREW.COM Oregon boasts an elite receiving corps that could create problems for the Wolverines’ erratic secondary. A disciplined defensive performance will be key in keeping the Ducks’ offense in check... Puddles WRs - PLASTER MICHIGAN!
  21. Thanks again for a terrific and spot-on article. A "PERFECT" B1G Game was contested last Saturday. Iowa 40 / Northwestern 14. Neither team passed for 100 yards. 😁 With a prototype B1G Meta-game plan, Iowa is usually at or near the top of the middle of the conference and then is plastered by an SEC team in its bowl game. The Michigan D Line has not played as well as expected this season, but I imagine they will be mega-fired up on Saturday. Michigan DC Wink Martindale will, as is his practice, bring The House in The Big House. Michigan will try to test both LOS early on. I wish Burch was available to help set the edge on D, something Michigan State could not do when QB Orji was in the game last Saturday. This close to November, every team is banged up. GO DUCKS! Silence 100+K! Play like it's 2007!
  22. The Triumverate (OK, the Top 2 and Penn State) is now a Quartet with Puddles flying East and the Hoosiers (one Rose Bowl apperance in 1968) crashing the party in 2024. The B1G has been top heavy for years with the East Division winner usually destroying the West Division winner in the Champ game, be it Iowa or Wisconsin. 1 BCS champ, Ohio State, sigh, and two 4-team PO champs, tOSU and Michigan. But being top heavy was also the case in the Pac-12. Arizona never played in a Rose Bowl game and a handful of contenders competed for the laurels. In Pac 8-10 and in Pete Carroll years in the Pac-12, it was SC Student Body Right and Every Body Else. It appears that a largely unregulated right to transfer and NIL is evening the field somewhat for coaches who can take advantage. Norvell in 2023 but not 2024. Cignetti in 2024. And, sigh, Mari(o) who, taking advantage of his Ward and a war chest, is close to O in 2024. This, and 16 to 18 team Mega-Conferences have given some tough schedules and others, easy-peasy schedules. See Mizzou compared to Georgia. Rutgers compared to UW. Miami compared to Pitt. This season, OBD has both tOSU and Michigan on the schedule. In 2025 the Buckeyes and the Wolverines are not on the schedule. Thanks, David for another terric artical. WASTE THE WOLVERINES. Play like it's 2007 😍!
  23. Brother NJ, A Bit OT But Trojans Wire with an Article - 'Why USC SUC's in 2024.' USC football has many reasons for failure, but offense comes first TROJANSWIRE.USATODAY.COM The USC defense hasn’t maxed out this season, but it has an excuse with so many key injuries. The offense has had few injuries but still hasn’t delivered in crunch time. Two days before the game in Seattle. With friends like these ... 😁
