  1. Taggert states he has no responsibility. He's perfect every time. What a scumbag
  2. Believe it when I see it. West coast people just aren't that interested, especially those in California. Sure they'll jump on the wagon when everything is great. But being part of the solution? Naw
  3. He graduated, good for him. Now it's on to graduate school, which I predict won't go as well.
  4. Well, we can see that nationally the Pac12 reputation has dropped. Perception is reality, and the reality is the Pac doesn't measure up. Oregons undrafted players tested poorly and they're numbers weren't impressive during the season. They'll get their shot, some like Williams (who has financial issues) could have benefitted from coming back. The others have hit their ceiling. It is what it is. The National Champions had 15 people drafted. The Pac12 runners-up had one.
  5. Congrats to him. I've always thought he gave great effort and was a great citizen for oregon. Heck, he blocked a punt in the Rose Bowl! I think the move to the big Apple will serve him well and will challenge him in a positive way. Go Ducks
  6. If even approaches that level this season will be epic
  7. Don't discount that the DT NFL was WAAAYY different than the Hill NFL. Patrick Mahoomes and others hadn't shown up yet. Who did he have in KC? Trent Dilfer?
  8. I say no. Still top 10. Edge rusher is a premium and there's alot of smoke out there
  9. My list: 1. Be better 2. Look like you have a clue 3. Look like you actually care 4. Be better Honestly B. Williams produced horrible results so getting rid of him can't be anywhere but an improvement
  10. Man, it's really hard to follow Duck b-ball these days. So many coming and going Zero continuity
  11. All seems good, Except I have Maehl 2.0 (Cota) as a starter. He'll only get better as he gets more comfortable with the offense. Really impressive
  12. For myself, it usually boils down to results. Good results pushes them towards a positive connotation As "confidence" seems a little more tolerable than "cockiness"
  13. Beat me to it sadly... KTs problem may be his over-assurance of his own greatness. But time will tell
  14. He sure did. When he left I wished him well and hoped we'd never see him again. Then Bellotti hired a young O coordinator named Kelley, changed the scheme, and the rest is history
  15. Thoughts: 1) not really concerned about the D, they'll be fine. The split squad affects the D more than the O. 2) DJ looked great on D, his new permanent home! Predator style. 3) LBs will be the strength of the D as even young guys like Taggert (not willie) looked good. Plus Funa lost weight and physically looked awesome. Flowe, Sewell, Funa, Brown, A. Jackson, etc. Quite the group 4) Dollars looked good and back to form. Hope he stays healthy. 5) WRs are definitely the strength of the O. Maehl 2.0 (Cota) was really impressive. He'll start. The rest will be a dogfight which is good. 6) All 3 QBs threw better than ANYTHING we saw last year. And that produced 10 wins. High hopes. Weakness: A. DB inexperience. Sheesh, they're young and low in numbers B. TE play. Boy that's up in the air. But I'm sure it will depend on scheme. So we'll see C. Special Teams? It's got to be better right? D. Schedule. Pretty tough for so many new faces all around. Go Ducks
  16. Gotta admit how I LOVE that Fishduck has stoked the fires of husky hatred! Fly in the 747 bandwagon, park it on the tarmac, and let the entire Fishduck Forum come aboard! Huck the Fuskies Go Ducks
  17. Really liked Bennett last year before he got hurt. Other guys are relatively inexperienced but hopeful especially considering their size Stephens unfortunately has been a little bit of a disappointment or lackluster. But with his experience I hope he turns the corner like Ugo Amadi did a couple years ago
  18. He just put on a different colored shirt. Same same I like adjustments (change is over-used).
  19. When he was healthy, Dollars was repeatedly screwed over by (and I hesitate to call it that) Mario's "system." He always performed, yet never played. Hope he finally gets a shot
  20. It's not your fault... I know. No son, it's not your fault. I know. No, you don't. It's not your fault.
