  1. This was released on April 1 "April Fools Day"
  2. I told my wife last night that we won the Pac 12 Basketball Championship as well as the Pac 12 Football Championship in the last year of the Pac 12 and then I remembered who actually won the football championship, oh well............... Nice Job DUCKS!
  3. Here is an article from my community in Santa Rosa, CA. A local female cross country star just signed a marketing contract with New Balance. Maybe this is old news to some of you, but I did not know that NIL now reaches down to the high school level. https://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/sports/montgomerys-hanne-thomsen-signs-with-new-balance-becoming-sonoma-countys/?utm_source=article_gift&utm_medium=copy-link&ac=YXJ0aWNsZS1zaGFyZQ==&ah=3X8j9RWbavYk
  4. Thanks David Marsh. I am still mourning the loss of the Pac 12. From Santa Rosa CA, I will no longer be able to day trip to Stanford or Berkeley to see my DUCKS! Still look forward to Eugene for one game per year. BTW a friend yesterday told me that he and three friends are going to the Ohio State game. The closest hotel room they could book was Cottage Grove!. They still have to purchase tickets on the secondary market. I wonder what the price will be. These are some of the hurdles when you are not local and do not have season tickets. Oh well..........
  5. Mr. FishDuck you are certainly consistent. When ever you post about the University of Washington, I can count on one more great example of Schadenfreude. "Pleasure derived by someone from another personsl misfortune". Just to be clear, I love it!
  6. Just when do we transition to Big 10 TV?
  7. I would imagine that Dan Lanning are being pursued by some players from UW. Do we want them?
  8. Just read several reports that Dan Lanning is in Tuscaloosa right now.
  9. This might be a landing spot for Jim Harbaugh. He could get out from under some of the mess he has made around the football program at Michigan.
  10. Best of luck to you Charles. Rent yourself a very nice place in a very nice neighborhood. Now you may not be ready for this advice. Find a high end gym close to your residence. You will find that as a single mature male, the actuarial tables are in your favor and you will be very much in demand.
  11. I have to confess my sins........I was rooting for the Huskies!
  12. Nice article Jon. I wish to thank you for helping to turn this aircraft carrier a bit and get us "Pac 12 Guys and Gals" start the reorienting process to the B1G. It is not easy, I spent the whole bowl season reflecting on how the Pac 12 was doing. Now time for a new orientation and challenge. GO DUCKS!
  13. I enjoy the author. Michigan May Win the National Championship. Help! WWW.WSJ.COM An overtime defeat of Alabama puts the Wolverines in the title game against Washington—and our Wisconsin-grad columnist mulling a move to an underground cave
  14. All these years of watching and attending DUCK football, I was not aware of the "Push Pass". I thought those were runs. Oh well...........
  15. Thank you Mr. FishDuck. IMHO this game puts our DUCKS in a no win situation. We are expected to win but this is football with all sorts of risks. Good Gosh forbid but look what happened to The Ohio State University yesterday, losing their starting QB early in the game and laying an egg. Do we expect to play Bo Nix for three quarters? Liberty is a talented team and will be bringing their "A" game. Will our DUCKS bring the same and will we stay healthy? We have great depth this year but no longer at QB for this game.
  16. The Year College Football Ate Itself WWW.WSJ.COM After months of maneuvering and spending—farewell, Pac 12; hello $75 million for Jimbo Fisher—it’s impossible to pretend it’s anything but another ruthless business
  17. This could be the downfall for Texas. They have a great defense against the run but UW does not run all that much. I think the purple wins this game.
  18. This is Cosmo the Wonder Poodle. Notice the Oregon collar as well. He is a big DUCK fan!
  19. My idea of decadence is two Snake River Waygu rib steaks. A bit of Maldon Salt and then pan sear for two minutes a side and then into an oven set at 425 for 5-7 minutes depending on the thickness of the cut. Now to rest about 6 minutes under cover with a big pat of Tillamook Extra Creamy Butter. Serve with my made from scratch Caesar Salad including homemade croutons, rice pilaf and a nice bottle of Lavinea (Willamette Valley) Pinot Noir from the Elton Vineyard. This is coming up next week.
  20. This can happen, Cam Ward had zero D-1 offers out of high school, in fact the only offer he had was Incarnate Word.

  22. Just saw a rumor that Ty Thompson was getting close to Oregon State. If it was on the internet, then it must be true, correct?
