  1. I am already starting to feel sorry for Hawaii. Is it wrong?
  2. I have been a top salesman for 50 years. I can recognize B.S. and if a person is a professional or not. I think Coach Prime is the best salesman I have ever seen. He is also a fine coach and a great motivator. Check out his documentary on Netflix. It is clear that he cares about his young men and is preparing them for life. What he has done at Colorado is unprecedented but a legal overhaul. He had the cojones to turn over virtually the entire team and they will be a force in the Pac 12 this year. I just read but cannot remember the source that stated that recruits are now flocking to Boulder and it is expected that his recruiting is going to go through the roof. I am really happy that this game is being played in Autzen. Autzen could be the difference. GO DUCKS!
  3. I am almost too mentally exhausted to comment. Plenty to work on here and many good things happened as well. Bo Nix carried the team on his back and won this game. Now to a large Bombay Saphire Gin and Tonic.
  4. It feels like the game is getting out of control.
  5. Texas Tech defense owns our offensive line.
  6. It looks like we have a spy on Tyler shough. I think he will be throwing 50 times. Kyrhee better start playing defense.
  7. Starting out as a QB shoot out. Both looking very good.
  8. A gym friend of mine has a son working the sidelines. She told me this morning that it took a total of three different DUCKS to get to 546 pushups! I feel like a reporter for the National Enquirer.
  9. I was watching this game and here comes the AFLAC commercial with Prime Time and later California Almond Growers with Prime Time. Just now I went to Amazon Prime and the first thing that shows up is a documentary "Coach Prime". He is a master at generating exposure.
  10. As I reflect on the "new" Colorado team, I am glad this game is at Autzen.
  11. The Deion Sanders Experiment at Colorado Begins With a Wild Win WWW.WSJ.COM The Buffaloes, who won one game last year, knocked off Texas Christian, a team that played for a national championship last season, to kick off the Prime Era
  12. We appear to be seriously deep at running back.
  13. I like the fact that we are not running Bo Nix!
  14. Is Jordan James our #2 RB or is Noah Whittington hurt?
  15. Utah looking awfully good playing their third string QB.
  16. I feel sorry for Utah. Apparently their #1 and #2 QB's are both down. I would love to see Utah knock off Florida this week but things are not looking good.
  17. Thanks Joshua, I always enjoy your posts. This morning I was in the mood to read an optimistic outlook on our DUCKS!
  18. Sabrina Ionescu Missed Her NCAA Tournament Moment. Now She Is Making WNBA Ones. WWW.WSJ.COM Three years ago, the then-Oregon standout’s postseason showcase disappeared. Now she’s a central character in women’s basketball’s starriest rivalry.
  19. Charles, great to have A DUCK Man Cave. I have one as well. Just one question, where is my seat?
  20. They Finally Broke College Football. What Chaos Happens Next? WWW.WSJ.COM The weekend collapse of the Pac-12 was fast–and hardly a shock
  21. Met with a DUCK Buddy at the gym this morning. We were both sad but resigned to the change. Media drives everything. Oregon State has a team this year that is a threat to anyone. They sure beat us last year. Washington State especially under Mike Leach could compete but both these universities have very small media markets and they will probably be relegated to the Mountain West or similar and both be attacked and decimated by the Transfer Portal. I care less about Stanford and Cal. They are resident in a big media market but no one at either university, from admin to students to alumni care about football and the smaller sports especially Title 9 are going to suffer. They each will be raided for their current talent. I will stick around to see how this all shakes out but I am going to surely miss the tradition and rivalries. GO DUCKS!
