I never want a player to get injured. That said, just being real and not wishing for it, I don't think Penix is going to get through the conference championship game. He's going to get hit time and time again by the Ducks defense and he won't finish out the game.

We need to beat UW so badly that the refs can't give them the game... because if it's close, the refs will.

Without these refs, UW would have multiple losses this year...us, ASU, WSU, OSU. My goodness.

Where was the OPI against UW? I'm so done with these inept, corrupt refs.

The refs are determined to help UW this season. That late hit penalty was total BS.

Well, if you watch his press conference from last night at about 2 minutes in he's asked about the Michigan State job. He answered in an incredibly evasive way that basically said, "Well, there's too much uncertainty with the Pac-2 for both my players and myself." (That was summarizing him). That guy is gone. Who knows if it's to MSU or not.

Oregon 52-10 2 5 407 I think the Ducks are angry and want to win this with style. My only worry is if they knock out DJU, that Aiden Chiles will come in. I think he's a better QB than their starter and might give their offense some life.

I'm thankful that my wife is in labor with our third baby! I'm going to have to order Ducks gear for my kids to wear and post a pic on the forum. I'm also thankful for getting to take life lessons from how Dan Lanning leads the Ducks and the knowledge from this forum. P.S. Contractions are still super far apart... so I'm not being a bad husband by being on the forum haha.

There are a lot of people that are saying he's in their top few or so, alongside the likes of Mike Elko, Lane Kiffin, and Jeff Traylor of UTSA. Then there's him saying that he's in contract extension talks with UW, instead of emphatically stating that he's not going to leave UW. The most interesting I think leading candidate is actually Dabo Swinney. He seems tired of Clemson and when asked about ATM, he said: "I'm just focused on this job ... Always have been. Just trying to beat North Carolina. It must be November—that's all I can say." Very interesting reply. So I think it's going to be either DeBoer, Dabo, Kiffin, Elko, or Traylor.

Dan Lanning is awesome! In an interesting note, Kalen DeBoer confirmed that he's in contract extension talks with the University of Washington... he's posturing himself for a big payday if he doesn't leave for ATM... I think he'll leave. He knows when Michael Penix is gone that he no longer has a competitive QB and his long-term value will go down below what ATM would offer. It really comes down to then, in my opinion, if ATM wants DeBoer or Elko.

You know, if ATM gets Kalen DeBoer, maybe Jimmy Lake would be willing to go to the Huskies? Or... even better, why didn't ATM simply trade coaches? They could take Jimbo. Gosh, DeBoer leaving UW would be a dream scenario to see that meltdown in Seattle.

Didn't we lose a recruiting battle for a 5-star last year to ATM? DJ Hicks, I think. How likely are we to get him in the transfer portal?

That play that laid Bo out had to be designed for a receiving TD for Bo for better Heisman odds. I don't think that risk was worth the potential style reward.
