  1. They literally just made up that call.
  2. Averaging 40 ppg after only scoring 3 in the first game, makes this stat even more amazing.
  3. It's really amazing that we could be so undisciplined, have 10 penalties for 90 yards, and be up by 28 points.
  4. 9 penalties for 75 yards, and up by 21. Stop them again, get the ball back, and score again before the half.
  5. About as many penalty yards as passing yards.
  6. Your Dawgs looked surprisingly human today.
  7. 6 penalties in the first 16 minutes.
  8. Mario probably would have called a time out with 1 second left in the 1st Q
  9. I'm just thankful that they still play a football game somewhere in there.
  10. Props to Chip & UCLA. Last week, I was not a believer and mentioned that I thought they could end up 4-3 after UW, Utah, & Oregon. But they look like they might be the real deal.
  11. Wait a minute... The refs applied yards for both penalties?
  12. My son, who loves the Ducks, now lives on the East Coast. He texted me this morning and said that with an 11 PM EST start time, it's tough following the Ducks. He said he will record the game and watch it tomorrow. I don't think these games that end at Midnight PST, and don't start until 11 PM EST, are doing us many favors.
  13. With the exception of UCLA, I like your rankings. I have a feeling that the Bruins will be 4-3 in 4 weeks after UW, Utah, Bye, & @ Oregon.
  14. Sorry... I'm not sure why it's not opening for you.
  15. This poor kid. "Tyler Van Dyke isn’t the player he was last year and Miami" https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.miamiherald.com/sports/college/acc/university-of-miami/article266308611.html We are beyond fortunate that the gods of football came calling from Miami.
  16. Agreed. I think it's likely that the pass on that play would have been intercepted anyway, even without the tip.
  17. It absolutely was tipped. The ball changed trajection and was altered. If you watch the replay in slow motion, it's actually pretty easy to see. But even without the tip, I think there is a high likelihood that the pass would have been intercepted anyway.
  18. I'm almost forgot about that beyond horrendous situation. It really is stunning why the Pac-12 referee situation has been allowed to be so bad for so long. No idea why this has not been fixed.
  19. This screw up was definitely another Pac-12 referee situation for the ages.
  20. Ahhh... That sheds a little light on my question. Thank you. I was just beyond happy to have such a fine, solid, experienced, and smart receiver joining our receiving corps. And I thought that although he took the long route to get home, he finally did make it here.
  21. This is stone, cold, brutal. I've said it before, but as a reminder again, Mario's first play called as head coach at Oregon was a timeout BEFORE the opening kickoff of the game. I've watched a lot of football over the decades, and I have never ever once seen that happen before. I'm more thankful by the minute that Miami came calling.
  22. I guess people didn't follow this kid at all while he had a wonderful career at UCLA, or looked at his stats.
