Yeah... I really wouldn't need to watch that pain either.

TCU Should Stay in CFP?
I would not go so far as to call it a travesty, but it would be wrong to not include TCU in the CFP

Ducks, Beavers in Battle for Holiday Bowl Bid
If we don't go to San Diego, is the likely option the Sun Bowl in the crap hole of El Paso Texas/Juarez Mexico?

Dan Lanning Blew It
Personally, I always recommend to myself to never drink and post after 1:30 AM. But that's just me. Go Ducks!

TCU Should Stay in CFP?
Not a chance USC gets in over OSU

Caleb Williams for Heisman: But You Lost!
I can think of a quarterback who played injured against Utah and could hardly move, but actually beat Utah. But USC gets waxed by Utah in the conference championship, and a guy with really pretty fingernails sits on the sidelines crying, and therefore deserves the Heisman. Sure... why not.

PAC 12 TITLE GAME
Personally, I am thankful that we will not be watching weak USC play in the CFB. It would have only brought more humiliation onto the Pac-12. Sadly, the Pac-12 is soft and USC proved it again last night.

PAC 12 TITLE GAME
The Sun Bowl is a crap bowl. Plus, it's in the crap border town of El Paso Texas, which borders the dangerous town in Mexico of Juarez. But, perhaps it is the proper consolation bowl for losing your last two games, against your two biggest conference rivals, while completely and utterly melting down against the River-Rats in the last 17 minutes of the game. .

Dilly's ASU Decision was Rash....Like His Coaching?
Yes, KD was at the top of their list for over a month. It wasn't exactly the best kept secret down here. And definitely no surprise that he said yes when the offer came.

Dont'e Thornton Leaving the Ducks, Going to the Portal
In the newer world of CFB, this is just to be expected. NFL-Lite

Yes.

Dilly's ASU Decision was Rash....Like His Coaching?
As far as wins go, I can almost guarantee you that none of the ASU boosters and alumni are expecting things to get much better anytime soon. The ASU cupboard is essentially completely bare. KD probably has two seasons before they are expecting a significant change in wins.

Dilly's ASU Decision was Rash....Like His Coaching?
Dillingham went home, and he didn't go there for the money. How many of us would turn down our life-long dream job if it came along... be it at age 22, 32, 42, or 52. The dream job rarely comes calling, and it almost never comes calling twice. I wish KD all the success in the world. For a lot of reasons, I give him about a 15-20% chance of succeeding at ASU. It is a very difficult market for CFB to succeed in, and that's not even taking into consideration all of the dramatic changes taking place in CFB. But if anyone can do it, he might just be the guy.

New OC? I Have a Name:
Has Joey coached anything before... I mean other than maybe middle or high school?

New OC? I Have a Name:
I'm not suggesting Shaw would be good for Oregon, or that Shaw would consider it, But Shaw worked with what Stanford could recruit. Which was rather limited.

Interesting Similarities Between Lanning and...
Agreed... There's not a snowballs chance in hades that Bo would be insane enough to consider transfering to the dumpster fire known as ASU.

Oregon OC Kenny Dillingham Becomes Arizona State HC-- It's OFFICIAL
But I'm just glad our head coach is a defensive genius, as evidenced by how we handled Eastern Washington & Colorado.

Ducks in Disarray Again?
You nailed it here. We need to remember that he is a young coach, and his education is going to cost us at some critical moments. But hopefully he is coachable and teachable and willing to learn. If he is, we should have a fun ride with him over the next few years.

Transfer Portal: How Many Players Follow Dillingham?
Very few... IMHO. The delta between Oregon and ASU is massive. And ASU is a disaster zone with significant sanctions looming. And with all due respect to Dillingham, he is certainly nowhere near a Lincoln Riley, nor is ASU remotely comparable to USC. For these reasons, and many more, I think few kids are going to follow Dillingham to Tempe.

I am a Blockhead, a Bumbling Buffoon...or am I Brilliant?
Once in a while, I make a confident prediction... and I'm right --- once in a while. But when it comes to CFB, I'm pretty sure that I'm wrong than I'm right. But regarding Dillingham, I could not see how a 32 year old guy, who was born and raised down in the Tempe area, went to ASU, is highly thought of, and whose roots run very deep in the Valley of the Sun, would possibly turn down the opportunity to take over as ASU head coach... if it was presented to him. I also knew that for over a month, KD's name was at or near the top of the ASU list. My only question was would ASU formally offer him the job, with the right package. ASU does not really have the option of attracting a known proven head coach right now. Because the program is in such disarray at this point, there is very little downside for Dillingham in taking this opportunity. If he succeeds, he'll be a rockstar. If he doesn't, I don't think it will cause his stock to fall. 9 years ago, KD was a 23 year old high school OC at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale. 9 years later, he's a Pac-12 HC. Quite the meteoric climb.

Hate To See This--Duck Player Punches Beaver Fan After Game (Video)
You don't get to punch fans for getting in your grill and saying mean things... not without usually receiving major repercussions. But if the clown-fan laid his hand on Johnson first, then it's a bit of different ballgame, at least from a legal perspective.

Shaw Resigns From Stanford
Nothing but respect for Coach Shaw. I know three guys who played for him and they hold him with the highest regard and respect. He has represented Stanford, and the Pac-12, extremely well. Best wishes to him in the next phase of his life.
