GameDay Thread versus Arizona: Join Us!
Yes. And it was just totally unnecessary because the ball had been tipped and had passed the receiver. But it's a lot easier for me to make the judgment call as I'm sitting here on my sofa, rather than the kid down there on the field trying to make a play.

GameDay Thread versus Arizona: Join Us!
I cannot believe I was remotely worried about this game. Thankfully, my prediction was "just a bit outside" --- as in miles outside.

GameDay Thread versus Arizona: Join Us!
I be grateful if he just looks like has stepped onto a football field before 😉

GameDay Thread versus Arizona: Join Us!
Exactly. It's almost like a completely different team in that regard from last week. That's just great coaching.

GameDay Thread versus Arizona: Join Us!
Defense caused for 2 huried passes on the 1st and 2nd downs, then a tip and pick. Now that was just impressive.

GameDay Thread versus Arizona: Join Us!
I was just re-reading the definition of targeting, and I don't see how the refs could have called it any other way.

Dang refs again!

You are correct. I just got a little bit excited there 😆

Am I the only one who thinks the targeting call on Manning was the correct call?

UA actually has a very respectable offense. But yeah... we've had some big defensive breakdowns.

GameDay Thread versus Arizona: Join Us!
An impressive half of Duck football, with the exception of a few defensive breakdowns. But UA has a very respectable offense. And the Ducls are a much more disciplined team this week. Last week we had 14 penalties for the game. This week we only have 2 penalties at the half.

What a stupid play. And now we lose him for half of the UCLA game.

Mario...It DOESN'T Work for Gosh Sakes!!
Mario may likely be the least popular person in Miami tonight.

Apparently. His QB has so far thrown 36/47, 454 yards, & 3 TDs

UCLA is Rolling
Oregon's bye week coming up next week could not be better timed. Unfortunately, UCLA has a bye week next week as well.

Let’s Give Arizona Back to its Original Owners
In my humble opinion, the only territorial/border change Arizona needs to make is to extend the border down south about 70 miles to the Gulf of California. Arizona would really appreciate some ocean front property.

UCLA is Rolling
It should be a great game, especially since it's in Eugene.

Trouble in the Desert?
Exactly. And ASU stinks.

UCLA is Rolling
Two weeks ago, I thought that then 4-0 UCLA was likely a pretender. I also said that I thought they might likely be 4-3 after 7 games. I was wrong. 42-25 UCLA with 9:26 in the 4th.

FishDuck Article: Oregon Head Coaches...If You Leave, Your New Team Will FIRE YOU
Thanks for the reminder. Admittedly, that does slip my mind on occasion. That was a huge handicap for Helfrich to walk into. I still don't think he was going to be the answer long-term, but will never know for sure.

Correct... 1995. The Knight's put up a matching donor fund for the Moshofsky Center, which shifted the $15 million fundraising program for the Mo into overdrive. Construction began in '97 and the Mo was opened in '98. But I particularly like that the Knight's first huge gift was to renovate the U of O library in 1994. And pretty much since that time, the construction projects have not stopped throughout the entire university.
