  1. Michigan just bullied them from the beginning.  Never trailed, big final score.  I had friends from the Midwest and South texting me how soft UW looked.  They were shocked they hadn’t lost several games.  And all this with Michigan not playing great on offense.  I think they forgot the forward pass was allowed.  Certainly play called away from their QB.   Oregon was much better equipped to beat Michigan.

  2. Also, first Miami coach to lose to Rutgers in 12 tries.

He lost this game to a team that completed 7 passes.  7.   Ran all over him 45 times.  So much for tough line.  And he was only missing 1 opt out in the front 7.

  3. It wasn’t just from watching Cal get crushed by Texas Tech in this weekend’s bowl game- but the indifferent lack of juice he brings.  Would Oregon be going for 22 wins in that span, or invited to the B1G, or on the trajectory it is on with recruits and image?

The reflection made me shiver that some famous alums actually campaigned for Wilcox.

    Looking back, can you imagine?!

  4. Well said Charles.  JC intentionally misprinted Fact.  Another line he crossed that continues to make him an unethical and unreadable “journalist.”

As for opinion, Pac2- fine manage the league next year but it is pure theft to take this year’s revenue already earned by the other 10.  Let alone that word again, unethical.

Beavis can never again claim to be taking the high road.

  5. Truly wish Ty the best. Great character.

But when 2 different well respected coaching staffs just decide you are not the guy for what is needed at this level, that is the opinion I trust most.  Can’t possibly see him as a B1G starter for any contender.

  6. Ok. This one is close to my heart. So I am going to intentionally stay a bit vague as to not cause waves.

First, I have zero knowledge of facts or connection to the women”s beach volleyball team.  So this is zero comment on that situation.

However, this offers ONE opinion on the general situation, so here goes.  I can offer this.  My daughter plays for a UO woman’s sport, albeit not a “premier” one.

The university had been beyond supportive.  To the point of “wow”.  Both from my kid’s perspective and mine as a parent of a student athlete.  Resources are not ever present,  iBut communication on approach is.  She was recruited coast to coast and chose UO because of the environment.  It has exceeded all of our expectations.

    Go Ducks.
