I don't like Altman whining about the fans when he has never once had a watchable product on the court during the regular season. I don't forget things about sports easily. I don't forget that in many of Altman's "deep runs" in March madness were after winning the Pac 12 tournament because of how badly they played in the regular season.

A situation that would be comparable for Oregon to me is in 2014. Oregon had this great team with Mariota but they had some injuries on the o-line so they played a bad game and lost to an unranked Arizona team at home. Then they played a number 10 ranked UCLA at UCLA the next weekend and all logic seemed to be that if Oregon couldn't beat Arizona at home, then they were definitely not beating a good UCLA team on the road. However, that Oregon team was not going to lose 2 in a row and they destroyed UCLA the next game even on the road.

You guys have to start picking games off motivation and not talent. Alabama's talented in football but their motivation to not embarrass themselves is why you'll never see them lose 3 times in one season. I've seen people double down after an Alabama loss and it's always dumb. If Alabama loses you can bet that they will cover the spread the next game.

Really you didn't see a D1 team getting revenge over a pseudo D1 team in a game that didn't matter as much as the first coming? I remember a bad Oregon team took on UC Irvine in the 2nd round and even though Oregon wasn't that much better than this year I still picked them because I knew they wouldn't give up a golden opportunity to get to the sweet sixteen and the UC Irvine was already happy with their first-round upset. Also, baseball can be compared to basketball. Baseball is a very inconsistent sport. I know Oregon's wrestling team would have never lost to Niagra.

With all the crime why are there so many bills trying to sabotage Oregon's football team?

I don't think an expansion team is as important as getting a team in the playoffs. Before the 4-team playoff the Pac 12 had the excuse of East Coast Bias but now the way they schedule, Pac 12 refs and some of the dumb stuff they do has been exposed.

What are you talking about. The Pac 12 needs to copy the ACC! The ACC gets in the playoffs most years compared to the Pac 12. The fact that it is easier to get to the playoffs in the ACC is part of the reason the Pac 12 is in this mess. This feels like the stupid ASU pride of not playing Florida St in the national championship. The Pac 12 is always behind the ACC even though they have better teams THAT IS A PROBLEM!

First off understand you are talking to Oregon fans, and we see Oregon get a BS targeting almost every game. If that is at #2 Oregon team playing Stanford late in the season that is getting called on Oregon 100% of the time. There needs to be some consistency with targeting calls.

I've said for 10 years that Pac 12 needed to make it easier on their teams to run the table. There are still people that argue with me about this. When your conference is known for not making the playoffs something is wrong especially if ACC and Conference USA teams are making it.

IU has sort of become what Oregon was 3 years ago. I knew that Oregon should have given more playing time last year to Sydney Parrish.

When you do the hat switch thing like Ju Ju you already give him flaky vibes even if the hat switch worked in Oregon's favor for a few days.

Other than Alabama and LSU those teams don't worry me anymore than the Arizona teams(especially on the road), Stanford, Washington St and Oregon St. Also, Oregon has lost that 2nd to last game a bunch of times while Alabama plays an out of conference team that has almost zero chance of winning. Speaking of which Alabama plays only 8 conference games while Oregon plays 9. Lastly, Oregon has an equal amount of home and away games while Alabama usually has twice as many home games as away games. Don't even get me started on Clemson who is similar to Alabama's schedule but with Moutain West level teams besides maybe North Carolina.

I'm for whatever will make Oregon's schedule easier. Oregon year in and year out have a tougher gauntlet of games than Alabama and I actually respect Alabama's schedule. It's not as easy as Clemson's at least but I'm for Oregon having a Clemson like schedule.

The thing that bothers me the most about Graves is I wished he would have been more honest about how good those Sabrina teams were. At this point it is sad so I'm not going to bash them and I hope Graves figures it out. At one point it looked like he would be the next Gino, but he is far from that right now. If he didn't treat that top 5 team with Sabrina like Nick Saban and that he could spit a team like that out at any time I would be more patient. You could argue that he was doing reverse psychology to motivate them, and I do think he was doing that but thinking you can mind trick Sabrina, Sabally and Herbert into playing better is a little arrogant in of itself.

I like the idea of SMU in the Pac 12. Oregon can beat them but they are respectable.

Sadly, I don't think they can dig themselves out of the hole they dug themselves and that includes have a decent year next year. Graves milked Sabrina for all she was worth, and he seemed pretty ungrateful for the greatness that she brought to his teams. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Graves told Sabrina's team when she was a sophomore that they hadn't done anything yet even though that was a historic year for Oregon. I remember cringing at his statement because I knew he didn't realize how good of a team he had. However, it is him that has truly done nothing yet because he can't get in the top 10 without Sabrina let alone top 5 which was the team, "that did nothing, yet."

I knew that Covid Canceled year would be the last chance Oregon had at a national championship or ever reaching the final four. Every year that Sabrina has been gone the team has gotten worse. It's not much of a rebuild when you get worse every year. Sooner or later there will be more fans at the Volleyball games than the basketball games.

I'm cautiously optimistic, I thought last year's team was a great team that just had horrible luck. I like the direction they are going but at the same time they are better than North Carolina by 1 point.

I definitely don't think that Sabrina will work well as a role player and that she will either end up in Portland or Seattle. Maybe Vanslooten and her could play together but even in that case Sabrina will have to be the point guard. As far as Vandersloot is concerned I don't think her, and Sabrina can play together the fact that Graves is loving this idea that will likely hurt both of his former players only makes me question Graves. I do get the names mixed up myself when Oregon recruited Vanslooten I liked her right off the bat because her name was similar to Vandersloot's.

I was worried during the Covid Canceled season that Oregon's woman's basketball might never get another chance at a championship and that looks like that might be the case. The so called rebuilding is taking forever and this just might be what Oregon is. A team that is top 20ish for most of the season and then becomes a top 30ish team once Pac 12 play starts.

Vanslooten being on her team isn't a good thing. Too many chefs in the kitchen and Sabrina will likely move to another team.

I remember when Oregon was a 2nd seed and Graves sort of crap on them saying they hadn't won anything yet. Sabrina was carrying that team on her back so what has Graves done? He hasn't been close to the 2nd seed without Sabrina.

This team has been a big disappointment. I really miss Sabrina. Sabrina and Lamichael James have been the biggest impact players of all time but at least in Lamichael's case there wasn't a huge drop off when Barner took over but Sabrina's is like better than the whole starting lineup right now.

I'm going further Joey Harrington's Holiday Bowl win by 7 points over Texas was better than the 30-7 Alamo Bowl over Texas.

Oregon destroyed Texas in an Alamo Bowl and as great as Texas is as a program no one really cared. Ok this is my hotake this victory over North Carolina meant more than the blow out over Texas.
