  1. Oregon wins 49-10. 3 take aways 3 sacks 268 passing yards Why list these if the tiebreaker is moot? First to post wins now? What about us working class who can't spend all day on the forum trying to be first, huh? Go Ducks!!!
  2. White numerals with yellow outline would look better. I hope we go back to LIGHTNING YELLOW next year except a retro maybe once
  3. sUCLA, USuC, mutts, and Oregon musta brought some of that "Crap-12" officiating east with them. What do we call the officiating now? "B1G Crap"?
  4. Meanwhile in Cowvallis...beevis lost at home to Sam Houston State as 20 point favorites
  5. A win in a tough environment on the road against a very good team. Kickers and special teams were not a weakness. Some key absences and injuries, but found a way.
  6. Part of me want to say Iowa wins 16-10. 😣 but... Let's go DUCKS! 35-6 3 take-aways 4 sacks 226 passing yards 1 defensive touchdown in there
  7. Let's be real here...the Beevrats could not be any less punchy than they are now
  8. #9 feels right, honestly. Beat Iowa, USC, Minn, and the mutts on the road...we'll be hosting a game as a 5 or 6 seed. Cracking the top 4 would not be out of the realm of reality either given the chaos we'll see in the next few weeks with B12 and SEC teams beating each other up, then the conf. CG's. Just need to take care of our own business. Iowa will be the toughest. Dante will continue to grow hopefully, if it clicks soon we could be pretty good down the stretch
  9. Feels like another "DA will have them playing well in March" kind of team, that will lose in the round of 32
  10. The MINT needs fast linebackers who can cover side to side well, an elite edge rusher, and a freak at the STAR position...Safety with Linebacker/run stopper skills, that can cover like a corner. Georgia (Lanning's last season there as DC, blew out Alabama in NCG) had a roster full of early round NFL draftees. Mateo fits that but not sure the others, though really good, are quite at that level. As Spartan said above, shutting down the short passing game is a goal, and the talent assembled in the secondary should be exciting for Duck fans, they are all very young. Our 5 star frosh Safety is out this year with a broken leg. So, it's somewhat of a bend-don't-break in the run game. Lanning and staff get elite interior DLine and LB's where a 4-man rush can create QB pressure, it will work better. For now, my bigger concern...the offense needs to improve against the better teams...Dante needs to grow and recognize the pressures, which will come with experience as others have noted on this forum. Nix and Gabriel were the most veteran college QBs in history. But...Dante makes throws many NFL QB's can't, and pro scouts have noticed! This season has room to grow and could yet be special. Next year could be even more so with a big recruit class finish and continued portal use, which Lanning has done as good as any team. Offensive tackles need to be more consistent.
  11. Worried about a road game at Iowa honestly. As someone said above I'd be concerned about a number of SEC teams potentially down the road. US and UW are not gimmes either. Penalties at home was too much
  12. Pass D is great, Wisconsin not a good pass team though. Run D...🙄
  13. Throw out my prediction contest entry. Getting out-physicalled on both lines. B1G teams in red have us figured out
  14. Oregon 53-0 3 take aways 3 sacks 242 passing yds
  15. Not really if you look at the results on my prediction contest score 49-17 (it was 56-10), I called 3 take-aways, we had 3...6 sacks, we had 3. 335 passing yards, we had 338 3 turnovers (by 3 starters) was a surprise. Total yardage domination (750-202) and holding the hyped Rutgers passing game to 79 yds...pleasant surprise
  16. What about Akili Jr???
  17. I can't blow it up to see it either
  18. Oregon 49-17 3 take aways 6 sacks 338 passing yards
  19. I can handle it but still like some green and yellow somewhere. I guess it would ruin the look. I don't care if we flog Rutgers 52-3
  20. Down but not out. Look at the preseason top 25 and how many of them are 2-3 losses already. We're still good but not quite there. Ain't leavin the bandwagon. Go Ducks!
  21. I knew as soon as I typed that we'd get a pick 6! Now let's take the momentum all the way to the victory!!!
  22. They just look like the better team, came to play. Out coached. Still feels like our coaches are not good second half adjusters, haven't seen that since Helfrich
  23. Ducks win of course 45-17 3 takeaways 3 sacks 318 passing yards
  24. ESPN says he chose Oregon today!
