  1. 🤮 How many Rebels will Portal King Lane take with him to LSU, and will the chosen portal players sit out the PO? It's all about the Student-Athletes, right? 🙃 This is where they need to re-exam the rules. Coaching carousel windows, portal windows etc. If coaches swap after the windows, players can't transfer that year. (Death of a coach in May or he gets arrested and fired in April or something weird). Make the whole mess start only after the last playoff and bowl games are done. Make the playoffs and bowls all done by January 2nd so kids can get into the new school for the new semester. Lots of things to figure out. If Ole Miss roster is decimated for the playoffs because of this... that's just not right
  2. Oregon mauls the mutts 45-17 with 3 take aways and 4 sacks Slingin it in Seattle through the air for 336 passing yards Annual Mutt Mauling
  3. The "Annual Mutt Mauling"
  4. X-factor: No more injuries, beat the mutts and get healthy for a Christmas home game
  5. I bet we're 6. But...lots left with this week and Conf CGs. Just win.
  6. Oregon 49-24 over usUc 2 takeaways 3 sacks 314 passing yards ( over 300 rushing too)
  7. Dillon Gabriel had to sit the 2nd half...Shadeur was awful. 4-16 for 42 yards and a pick
  8. Looks like somebody made good halftime adjustments
  9. Feels like maybe we've been blitzing too much and this QB is starting to eat it up yet in the Red Zone this year we actually haven't been that great and we've held them to two field goals so that's a good sign
  10. Oregon wins 49-10. 3 take aways 3 sacks 268 passing yards Why list these if the tiebreaker is moot? First to post wins now? What about us working class who can't spend all day on the forum trying to be first, huh? Go Ducks!!!
  11. White numerals with yellow outline would look better. I hope we go back to LIGHTNING YELLOW next year except a retro maybe once
  12. sUCLA, USuC, mutts, and Oregon musta brought some of that "Crap-12" officiating east with them. What do we call the officiating now? "B1G Crap"?
  13. Meanwhile in Cowvallis...beevis lost at home to Sam Houston State as 20 point favorites
  14. A win in a tough environment on the road against a very good team. Kickers and special teams were not a weakness. Some key absences and injuries, but found a way.
  15. Part of me want to say Iowa wins 16-10. 😣 but... Let's go DUCKS! 35-6 3 take-aways 4 sacks 226 passing yards 1 defensive touchdown in there
  16. Let's be real here...the Beevrats could not be any less punchy than they are now
  17. #9 feels right, honestly. Beat Iowa, USC, Minn, and the mutts on the road...we'll be hosting a game as a 5 or 6 seed. Cracking the top 4 would not be out of the realm of reality either given the chaos we'll see in the next few weeks with B12 and SEC teams beating each other up, then the conf. CG's. Just need to take care of our own business. Iowa will be the toughest. Dante will continue to grow hopefully, if it clicks soon we could be pretty good down the stretch
  18. Feels like another "DA will have them playing well in March" kind of team, that will lose in the round of 32
  19. The MINT needs fast linebackers who can cover side to side well, an elite edge rusher, and a freak at the STAR position...Safety with Linebacker/run stopper skills, that can cover like a corner. Georgia (Lanning's last season there as DC, blew out Alabama in NCG) had a roster full of early round NFL draftees. Mateo fits that but not sure the others, though really good, are quite at that level. As Spartan said above, shutting down the short passing game is a goal, and the talent assembled in the secondary should be exciting for Duck fans, they are all very young. Our 5 star frosh Safety is out this year with a broken leg. So, it's somewhat of a bend-don't-break in the run game. Lanning and staff get elite interior DLine and LB's where a 4-man rush can create QB pressure, it will work better. For now, my bigger concern...the offense needs to improve against the better teams...Dante needs to grow and recognize the pressures, which will come with experience as others have noted on this forum. Nix and Gabriel were the most veteran college QBs in history. But...Dante makes throws many NFL QB's can't, and pro scouts have noticed! This season has room to grow and could yet be special. Next year could be even more so with a big recruit class finish and continued portal use, which Lanning has done as good as any team. Offensive tackles need to be more consistent.
  20. Worried about a road game at Iowa honestly. As someone said above I'd be concerned about a number of SEC teams potentially down the road. US and UW are not gimmes either. Penalties at home was too much
  21. Pass D is great, Wisconsin not a good pass team though. Run D...🙄
  22. Throw out my prediction contest entry. Getting out-physicalled on both lines. B1G teams in red have us figured out
  23. Oregon 53-0 3 take aways 3 sacks 242 passing yds
