Quack! Offensive Line Verbal for 2023, Lipe Moala
Pennsylvania Duck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Usually Rivals is pretty accurate with their info. However, in their haste to get out info, they must have neglected to check his current stats. I checked with a couple of other recruiting services and Moala is much bigger than what is listed in the article. However, a couple of other services, including Rivals and ON3, show him a little smaller. Maybe because he was injured last year and lower in the rankings, he hasn't been paid as much attention on these services yet. The last article is his listing on the Mater Dei roster. I would think this should be pretty current. Whatever, he appears to be a pretty big fellow! Impact of Chip, Feels Different Under Lanning
Pennsylvania Duck replied to Pennsylvania Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I love the difference in mentality Lanning brings to the game. These were my favorite parts of the article... But watching this team, it’s so apparent that the way Lanning and his staff prepare the team comes from a place of confidence. No, “If things go our way, we’ll leave with a win.” This is different; this is the belief that Oregon will win. Maybe as fans, we live with the PTSD of Tuscon, Tempe, or Stanford. But you know who doesn’t? Lanning. He doesn’t care about the past. He comes from a tree of coaches who walked into a game they were supposed to win and did just that. Certainly different from the vibes given by MC! -
This article is a good read, part human interest and part football. Read about the impact of Chip Kelly and how things just 'feel different' under Dan Lanning. State of Oregon: Week 7 - On3 WWW.ON3.COM It's starting to feel like Oregon has a coach who instills that confidence. Now it's time to take it to a game with equal talent and skill.

Oregon QB Bo Nix is on the verge of a truly historic season in Eugene If Nix can keep up the pace that he’s shown through six games, he’ll definitely rank right with some of those great seasons former Oregon signal callers have turned in. Hi Debbie. I like adding San Diego State and what if we tried poaching some of the Big 12 schools that make sense from a media standpoint in Texas. Can the PAC change their stance with BYU? Also, there is talk of a "loose alliance" with the ACC. Is that still a possibility because I think that could improve money for both conferences. It just seems like the PAC-12 sits back and watches everyone else do their thing first and we play catch-up. I just don't know if a conference of 10 members is easily going to survive in the long run. I'd like to see some creativity from the Pac-12 to improve this situation.
-
Welcome, Byron. I enjoyed reading your article and look for more from you. Every time I read about adding new conference members, I find George K saying a new media deal needs to get done first. I don't understand why that is the case. Wouldn't it make more sense to add members, then negotiate? It seems to me your value would be higher with the right members added.

Ducks Mid-Season: Tell Us What Surprises You So Far
Pennsylvania Duck replied to DazeNconfused's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I am most surprised at the play of Bo Nix. To be honest, I hadn't paid much attention to Nix prior to his coming to Oregon. I took the words of many of you on this site and worried how our offense would perform with Bo Pix. Well, what a pleasant surprise he has been. He's been the best thing since sliced bread for the Ducks. I know, he can do a few irritating things during games, but just think where we would be without him. -
