  1. “The number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Cam Ward, signed a contract worth $48.7 million over four years, with the entire amount being fully guaranteed” That is generational wealth that NIL cannot compete with. If Moore is projected in the Top 10, I can’t see a situation where it would make sense for him to stay another year.
  2. So Sanchez allegedly got in a fight with a 69 year old delivery driver, lost the fight, got pepper sprayed, got stabbed, then got arrested?
  3. Hilarious. The two teams everyone was picking to win the SEC (Texas) and the BIG (Penn State) both have two losses. Outta here!
  4. Oregon officially broke Penn State.
  5. Unreal. Every season it’s something. I hope it is closer to 4 weeks.
  6. This seems like a huge risk that is not necessary at this time. This is something the PAC-12 should have considered when the ship was starting to sink in an effort to save the conference. This is not something the BIG should do in position No.1 among all the conferences, IMO. This has a Goodfellas Restaurant scene vibe:
  7. When I saw the Penn State punt team run out on the field at the 36 yard line, and kick a net 16 yard punt, I think I instantly had flashbacks of Mario. That was a bad decision that has not been discussed much by the media. Mario loses to an unranked team every season. They will probably beat FSU next weekend and then lose to some below 0.500 conference team. Book it!
  8. “The Trojans proved in their loss Saturday against Illinois that they still aren't a contender just yet.” Not yet, huh? 6-6 in conference play since joining the BIG screams just on the edge of greatness. Michigan is up next, so that is probably dropping below 0.500 real fast.
  9. I’m with you. The AP poll is a complete joke and has been for a very long time. Not only would Georgia be favored, but they would likely beat a few of those teams by more than one TD. Having people that don’t watch all the games rank teams by the number of losses they have, without consideration of their strength of schedule, might be the dumbest thing in sports.
  10. ESPN will go to Texas vs Oklahoma, unless one of those teams lose next weekend. Then maybe there is a shot?
  11. How is LSU still 13? They have failed to score 21 points against any FBS school so far this year. They have a loss, but probably should have two. Their offense is tragic.
  12. I woke up and I still can’t believe how well the run defense played yesterday. If they can continue to play like that, Oregon has a legit shot to beat anyone in the country. I love that we shortened the RB bench to Whit, Limar, Hill, and Davison. I believe those 4 are the best in that room. I suspect Hill and Davison will start to get a larger share of the carries as the year goes on. We already know we have the best coach in the country. But do we have the best QB too?? Moore was so calm and just picked them apart. That was outstanding.
  13. That has to be in the Top 10 games of all time. That was insane!!!
  14. Looks like we are officially a BIG team now.
  15. I didn’t have 3-3 at half on my bingo card
  16. Sadiq running wide open on two 3rd downs and Moore doesn’t see him. Ugh. Let’s go!!
  17. This is not going to be a popular opinion, but Penn State lost that championship game more than Oregon won it. Oregon had no answer for their running attack in that game. They ran for 297 yards and were averaging almost 9 yards per carry. I still have no idea why they decided to throw the ball 40 times. Not only that, a lot of those were low percentage throws on mid to long range shots and they put the ball at risk, which resulted in 2 picks and a 50% completion percentage. If they take some of those high risk throws back and run the ball or turn them into shorter, higher completion percentage throws, I think Penn State wins that game. I hope Oregon has found an answer for that run game. Based on what I have seen so far this year, I am not optimistic. It will be interesting to see if Penn State learns from that last game and just pounds it down Oregon’s throat and throws it more like 15-20 times. If so, Oregon might be in trouble.
  18. Here’s my take on the situation. There have been some discussions that Hughes was struggling with the playbook and grasping all the little things in the offense during the offseason. That put Noah and Limar as RB1 & RB2 out of the gate. My guess is that the initial thought process going into fall camp was that they were probably looking to get the young guys some carries in practice and in early games (Hill and Davison) with a plan to possibly redshirt them, due to depth at the position. The problem is that both of those guys have stepped up big time and have played extremely well for true freshmen. The result is that you have very little separation within the RB group right now. Hill has true game breaking speed, Davison looks powerful, and both have very good vision for their age. I have been very impressed with Davison as a runner, but did you see him pick up that blitz in the OSU game? That was rad! I love our running back room right now. There are freshmen with a ton of talent, mixed with veterans that are solid college RBs. But to Charles’ point, none of these guys are Droughns. If they were, we wouldnt be talking about rotations right now. Im not a coach, but if I had to shorten the bench to 4 right now, it would be Noah, Limar, Hill and Davison. All things being equal, I am playing the guys with more eligibility and a higher ceiling.
  19. Is Kiffin really going to leave Ole Miss? He has a pretty good thing going there. If Stein is offered the Florida job, I would imagine he would be all over that. That is a Top 10 job IMO
  20. Mario pulled out a victory from the jaws of defeat yesterday. Don’t worry. Miami will lose to an unranked team at some point. It’s a given.
  21. I wonder if Dallas Wilson is regretting that decision to flip to Florida right about now. His QB can’t complete a forward pass, the team is 1-3, and the coach is about to get fired. Meanwhile, at Oregon…….
