  1. Below are some of the names from the Oregon 2021 coaching search (in no particular order): Luke Fickell, Cinci Kalani Sitake, BYU Chris Peterson Dave Aranda, Baylor Urban Meyer All of the names above are proven HCs.
  2. Great hire. Surprised that Fickell would take the Wisconsin job with the other potential options he likely had.
  3. I didn't realize that about Adams. Shouldn't that red flag been considered with the Tosh hiring or was his recruiting ability worth the risk?
  4. I couldn't stand Stanford's slow read-option offensive this year. It was painful to watch. Shaw seems like a great guy but no thank you. It would be great for the Pac-12 to hire him into some role. He has been a great ambassador for the conference.
  5. I was shocked that Oregon hired Lanning. It might work out in the long-run but as the article mentioned Phil Knight is 84 and wants to win now. Surprised that UO didn't pony up for a proven HC that could win NOW.
  6. Will Stein, co-offensive coordinator and QB coach at UTSA, may be an off the radar name to keep an eye on. UTSA's offensive looks similar to what Oregon ran this year and UTSA ranked in the top 10 for points per possession, which we know is a stat important to Lanning. UTSA's QB may have one more year of eligibility remaining. Stein played QB for Louisville from 2008-12. This offense would be a great fit for Moore, IMHO. 7. Congrats to Dante Moore and the Detroit Kings for repeating as Michigan high school football champions. Moore had an excellent game, completing 21-of-26 (80.8%) for 275 yards with four TD passes and added another 207 yards rushing on 13 carries (529 total yards)! He sure sounds like he is still solid on the Ducks in his post game interview and twitter posts. 8. At the end of the day it didn't matter how strong the conference was, Oregon had a chance to compete for the Pac-12 conference title and much more and just didn't get it done when it mattered the most - losing 2 of its final 3 games.
  9. The problem is that he didn’t learn from the Washington game.
  10. I hope that the Oregon AD does the right thing and holds off on giving Dan Lanning a big raise. I hope the media grills him about his decisions.
  11. Honest question for you - How long can one blame the former coach before the current one takes accountability?
  12. I am starting to have my doubts about Coach Lanning.
  13. Lanning might have just lost the game for Oregon. Guess he didn’t learn a thing from the UW game.
  14. Special Teams coach needs to be fired after this game.
  15. Oregon is trying to give this game away.
  16. Oregon’s defense must have taken the early bus back to Eugene. Why are we playing cover-2 against a Beavers team who is limited in the passing game?
  17. Need to avoid running him. We'll need him close to 100% to beat USC, IMHO.
  18. Oregon should kick the FG to go up by 3 possessions with one quarter to play against a Beavers offense that prefers to run the ball. I'm sure that the win probability would increase significantly with a FG.
  19. Maybe Tosh was calling plays on that series? LOL
  20. Defense didn't look good on that last series. Beavers ran it down their throats.
  21. Love the wide receiver screens on the 3rd down against an aggressive defense.
