That’s just what Nix did, throwing for 276 yards with 4 total TDs in a 42-6 win in front of an audience of 10.03 million viewers. Unsurprisingly, Nix’s Heisman odds seemed to have jumped drastically. Sports Media Watch reported the game’s audience was 10.03 million viewers with a 5.2 rating, narrowly ahead of the Ohio State-Notre Dame game (9.98 million, 5.1 rating), which NBC claims had over 600,000 streaming viewers for a total viewership of 10.59 million. It was the largest television audience for an Oregon game since the 2020 Rose Bowl (16.3 million).
