  8. Here is what The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman(subscription required) had to say about Stein: "While it is widely believed that Stein will eventually leave Oregon for a head coaching job elsewhere, I don’t expect it to happen this season. Dillingham’s departure a year ago was considered rare, with the young offensive guru never having spent time as a head coach, and being the primary play-caller for very little time at a Power 5 level. The same can be said for Stein, who has spent time as the OC at UTSA a year ago, and was coaching in the Texas high school ranks at Lake Travis as recently as 2019. While some teams may reach out to Stein, I would be surprised if he was not in Eugene for at least one more season as the OC." My hope is Stein will stay and not lose another OC after one year!

  14. Oregon Ducks vs. Washington Huskies odds: Early point spread released for Pac-12 Championship Game It will be a much-anticipated rematch of Oregon and Washington in the Pac-12 Championship Game on Friday night in Las Vegas. The undefeated Huskies clinched a berth in Week 12 and the one-loss Ducks secured a spot with a Black Friday win on rivalry weekend. And a red-hot Oregon team is favored to win the rematch over Washington, opening as a 7.5-point favorite for the neutral site game, according to FanDuel. The over/under is not yet set Oregon Ducks vs. Washington Huskies odds: Early point spread released for Pac-12 Championship Game WWW.ON3.COM The Pac-12's final championship game in the league's current format will pit a pair of playoff contenders against each other in a rematch. How to watch Washington vs. Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship Game Time: Dec. 1, 7:00 p.m. ET Channel: FOX, FuboTV (streaming) Location: Las Vegas The second edition of this rivalry game has been in the offing since Washington defeated Oregon, 36-33, in Seattle in mid-October. But both teams needed to run a gauntlet of ranked teams to get there — Oregon needing to avoid a second loss to stay in College Football Playoff contention. But the Ducks have been dominant since that day, winning each of the final six games by at least two scores. The closest margin of victory for Oregon in the second half of the season was a nine-point win over USC on Nov. 11. And to finish 11-1 and clinch a spot in the conference championship game on Friday, Oregon beat down rival and Top 25-ranked Oregon State, 31-7. The Huskies have had closer calls, but have managed to stay undefeated. Opposite the dominance of the Ducks, Washington played three one-score games and hasn’t won by more than 10 since playing Oregon. An Apple Cup showdown against Washington State to end the season provides the Huskies one last chance to roll up and opponent before playing for a conference title. It’s also a game that should feature elite quarterback play, much like the first matchup. That game — a 36-33 thriller — saw Washington’s Michael Penix complete 22-of-37 passes for 302 yards and four touchdowns. Oregon’s Bo Nix countered that showing with a 33-of-34 showing for 337 yards and two touchdowns in one of the most exciting games of the year. Now, they’ll get ready to square off once again, this time at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The winner likely heading to the CFP as a result, and potentially one or both quarterbacks will be going to New York for the Heisman ceremony. Add in the conference title at stake, and not much more could be on the line on Friday night in Las Vegas.
