  1. I agree. The bright side of this is Oregon is still sitting in the top 10. We were without very important missing pieces in this game. I do believe AB is not the answer at QB as was revealed not only in this game, but others as well. His passing technique is weak. We do need a QB who can pass with accurate precision which Ty Thompson will give us the dimension we sorely need. He is Oregon's answer at QB for the Ducks. Do you prepare Ty Thompson now since we have two weeks before we play California at home, but allow AB to be the backup just in case? That next following game will be at UCLA. If they were to make a change, it should be now. But is it wise to change QBs part way in the season?
  2. According to Pre-game: No sign of nickel Bennett Williams -- Alex Forsyth went through early pregame but isn’t with centers to take field to start padded warmups. Forsyth is in a jersey and shorts and not going through warmups. Are both injured?
  3. Wow, Georgia is on top of the Hogs 21 to 0 in the first quarter.
  4. The release depth chart for the Stanford game is still showing from Duck Territory: Defensive End: 1. Brandon Dorlus (SOPH.) 2. Sua'va Poti (RFR) 3. Terrell Tilmon (FR) / Louie Cresto (FR.) Haven't heard him being injured, but maybe your source has an inside track on an injury that might have just happen in practice.
  5. I believe the Beavs will win in similar fashion like the USC game. Coach Smith has them believing in Corvallis.
  6. Great article to read. Glad to see how the new rules can help someone like our beloved injured player, Cam McCormick. https://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/2021/09/oregon-ducks-fan-leads-effort-to-develop-apparel-to-benefit-injured-tight-end-cam-mccormick.html
  7. Can we vote for the next commissioner instead of University Presidents and Officials? If so, my vote for the next Pac12 commissioner is Charles Fischer! I believe Charles would do a much better job getting the Pac12 back to prominence. He would do the opposite of this list he mentioned: --Incompetent bowl management --Incompetent game scheduling (nine versus eight at other conferences, thus a big disadvantage) --Bloated expenses --Incompetent Officials --Incompetent television contracts --A Network that has the wrong times for programming on a regular basis --Delays in Scheduling * Instead Charles would bring back competency in handling bowl management * He would change the in-conference games to 8 instead of 9 (this will help the Pac12 to be more competitive with the other conferences) *Reverse the bloated expenses, move the central office out of SF and change it to Las Vegas. Basketball/football championships are located there. He would take a pay cut instead of the ridiculous amount of money our now, thank goodness soon to go away commissioner (I can't even say his name without leaving a bad taste in my mouth). * He will give us a much better TV contracts/Better Network programing times for our conference. Get the game time scheduling out in a timely manner. Charles would go from campus to campus to spend time with the teams/ADs getting the pulse of the schools needs to make this a better conference! I loved what Charles has done in creating/designing this site for all of us to enjoy! He would do an outstanding job formulating the right people to get this conference back to prominence once again! In Seriousness, I believe if the University Presidents would hire someone like Charles who has the fortitude, perseverance, ingenuity, integrity to do the what's right for this conference. We would have a great commissioner that actually cares about the pulse of this conference that we could actually count on! This is the kind of person they need to look for. Thanks All. Love this site and everyone that's involved!
  8. This is fantastic news! "He hits a clean ball off the ground and easily has 55+ yard range. He is smooth and accurate. His kickoffs are D1 ready. Jace drives the ball 70+ yards, with 4.0+ hang time. He is a gamer that kicks with confidence. Also a capable punter." Much needed for Oregon's kicking game. Great addition on special teams. Thanks for the info 30Duck.
  9. I like Haywarduck's thinking. Go Ducks! 31-21 Oregon
