Jon Joseph Moderator No. 7 Share Posted August 4, 2023 USC and UCLA did not have B1G voting status when the offer to Oregon and UW was approved by the B1G presidents. And calmer heads at UCLA and SC realize that the 2 additions will help with travel concerns.

It should also make it that much easier for a cal recruit to come to Oregon. You can still play in Compton, you just don't have to live there! 1

And I think that probably played a significant role in Oregon's choice to jump right now. My gut says that the powers at be for Oregon could have opted for the pay cut, remember Oregon's financials are different from mosts, to have an easier road to the playoff and if the moneu didnt materialize they make the jump to the B1G fir 2030. But that may not be an option if USC has a vote against them. So now was the time. USC wants to play dirty. Time to put them in the Aurzen terf come November!
Bruce3404 No. 10 Share Posted August 5, 2023 The whining on various SC websites is pretty funny. How dare the B1G allow two teams who can beat us into the conference?
