30Duck Moderator No. 1 Share Posted November 14 The Ducks have yet to lose this year and have been at the top of the first two sets of College Football Playoff rankings. To make this matchup favor Oregon even more, Wisconsin has lost two games in a row and just fell to Iowa by 32 in Week 10 before a much-needed bye in Week 11. However, CBS college football analyst Brian Jones is rolling with Wisconsin to upset Oregon on Saturday. "Wisconsin over Oregon," Jones said with a smirk on his face.

Solar No. 4 Share Posted November 14 The circumstances surrounding the game, injuries, byes, vs 8 games straight, away game, hostile cold environment, are the reasons. Dan Lanning has shown his ability to keep the team engaged under less than ideal circumstances before, so let's hop that continues and we can get off to a fast start. 1
EagleScoutJim No. 5 Share Posted November 14 This is only possible if the Ducks ignore everything DL has taught them about focus and let penalties rule the day. I just don’t see this happening. Honestly, this sounds more like ‘wishful thinking’ than based in reality. i am not suggesting OBD can afford not to take Wisconsin seriously, nor that anything can happen on a given Saturday. Rather, I think Lanning has a strategy that the players buy into that will minimize looking ahead and losing sight of the prize - a win at UW. 2
DanLduck No. 6 Share Posted November 14 Didn't he pick Michigan to best us also? This is just wishful thinking on his part. They don't like the idea of the "new kids" of the B1G coming in and dominating. No worries. After last week our boys will be more focused than ever. DUCati855 Moderator No. 7 Share Posted November 14 This Wisconsin game has had me the most nervous of any game on the schedule. But, the struggles against Maryland actually make me feel better about this game. I feel OBD will come out extremely focused this week, come out strong, and take the crowd out of it quickly. Coach Lanning will have them ready to battle and defeat the Badgers. Thumbs down, no mercy. 2
JabbaNoBargain No. 8 Share Posted November 14 (edited) Weather forecasts much? People around the sports world seem to keep confusing Eugene for San Diego. Forecasts for Saturday: Madison, WI - H54, L40, 5% chance of rain Eugene, OR - H50, L36, 65% chance of rain San Diego, CA - H62, L49, no chance of anything foul, but this is the coldest day of the week! Of course people will counter with "but the wind", because rainy conditions in Eugene are generally wind free? These are fairly typical conditions for both places for mid-November I get it, there was like a 5% it could have been Hoth like, but it's not. Weather is not an alien thing to a team from Eugene. Will be hilarious if it snows in Eugene this week. Edited November 14 by JabbaNoBargain 1 1

Jon Joseph Moderator No. 11 Share Posted November 14 Friend Eagle Scout, UW travels to Autzen this season. OBD next plays in Seattle in 2025. Oops. So many UW's, not quite as bad as OSU, and so little time the regular season takes! Poor reading skills is but One Reason I was not an Eagle Scout.

Oklahoma is OU... You can always tell a true Duck fan by what they use. Oregon State back in 2007 changed their initials to OS instead of OSU because OSU is for Oklahoma State and Ohio State... I know Ohio State fans want to insist upon tOSU but that's being ridiculous. It always helps to be the dominant brand when it comes to an initial combo. 2
